  1. I also am interested in Norway in 2025 and would love it on Brilliance! How do we get more info?
  2. How do you know they’re not included in the tip pool? Im curious what would be the reason since not everyone tips at the end of the cruise. What would be their incentive to want to be a suite concierge? Are they paid a higher salary? That would make sense then……
  3. The way I remember reading it is you have to use 1 drink voucher to get 40.00 of any bottle under 100. I don’t know if this is only once a day per guest or not. We each get 5 drinks a day, and bottles of wine in the room for amenities, so we haven’t don’t this yet. Sounds like a good deal though.
  4. We’ll see you on both those cruises……odyssey right?
  5. We did an 14 night Arctic TA last September from Copenhagen to Boston. It went to Norway, Iceland and Greenland and it was awesome! And we would do it again! Edit to add that we cruised Prins Christin Sund one of the days and it was unbelievably beautiful! The highlight of the whole trip! And we definitely want to do that again…
  6. You can see excursions for other ships on the app. That may not be the best way but you can see them.
  7. True, I used to tell my teen daughter at times when she was very bratty “ I love you but I don’t like you right now” She’s now a mother herself…😁
  8. I’ve found that when something says Fat Free or Sugar Free, it’s not good for us. Years ago we were all told margarine is better than butter…..then we heard that’s not true. So we now use only organic butter and organic half and half.
  9. I thought the Op is on the Presidents cruise…that’s the way I read the post.
  10. We noticed on our last two cruises that there was no H&H anywhere either, and that was months ago, I just thought that those two ships ran out. We usually have our morning coffee in the D lounge, but we did notice in the WJ, that the H&H container wasn’t there at all. For both cruises, different ships. And not in the D lounge either. We use H&H at home because we use less so the coffee stays hotter……we have no problem using milk, but we absolutely know the difference….. we can see it and taste it, like the OP. BTW, we haven’t noticed any shortage here of H&H……I wouldn’t believe that’s the reason.
  11. This totally confuses me. The DP340 part and upgrading cabins after final. I didn’t understand either.
  12. We had a cruise cancelled many years ago because someone decided to charter the ship. We were really disappointed because it was to the Baltics. I can’t remember what they offered in return, but it wasn’t good enough for us to take it.
  13. We have the same exact picture! Lol it was an AMAZING cruise
  14. No bias for me either, but the perks from Royal are definitely a plus 😉 We will take a look at Princess when we finally decide to plan an Alaskan cruise. we did get to see plenty of glaciers last September on the Arctic Cruise we took thanks
  15. I would do the TA to Florida and the week in Orlando. TAs back here are in the fall so weather will be nice! I live here and don’t know what you would do in Orlando for 2 weeks….but if it’s parks that can get expensive.
  16. Is that for the Lavender Daiquiri? That’s my favorite…. I didn’t see the recipe in this thread.
  17. Is seems not in this case but generally I find I can get any info I need from this group and the OP sees now tha they can get lots of info here in the future….because I’m sure they’ll love the cruise 😁
  18. We once has to cancel on the day of the excursion and they gave us refundable OBC
  19. That’s probably 100% possible. You’ll see tables set up in promenade, outside WJ and other places to sign up. You don’t need to go to the restaurant and you can book all you want.
  20. Even though it was too late for the OP, most here are always happy to help with probably better info than calling royal.
  21. Unfortunately this package could have been booked when you purchased the beverage package and any other extras like wifi, excursions, etc. All these can be cancelled before the cruise. it’s a lesson learned and hopefully you’ll be able to book when you get on the ship. Either way, you’ll have a great cruise!
  22. Funny how in all the long cruises we’ve done - including TAs - I’ve never paid attention to which nights were formal. I guess since the days of the the fancy food in the MDR are long gone, I see no special reason to adjust plans for specialty dining. But everyone is different 😁
  23. Along with extra tips….I don’t bring anything extra for them, but I do sometimes ask our room steward if they would like soda, water or beer if we have extra vouchers. They never say no to water.
