They had a scale by the Checkin area for the North Star on Odyssey last time we were on it.

I had totally forgotten that we had to do this once, it took a couple of hours we had to stay in the room to be counted. I don’t remember the outcome, so maybe it was a positive one.

On our last cruise a couple of months ago, our room steward said he was told to leave a paper compass in every cabin that had someone over 70….he showed me the list 😳

I’m sorry to read this, we only went to the Solarium Bistro once years ago when the main courses were ordered as you said, but even back then I wasn’t impressed . We planned to try them again and I made us a dinner reservation on our Odyssey TA in October. We’ll keep the reservation. I too am surprised to hear swimsuits being allowed inside for dinner.

Last time we took the train because we weren’t going to Rome or the airport, but in the past we have always used the RCL transfers because of the distance to the airport.

That’s exactly what a server told us, they get a specific amount of money (gratuity) for every swipe of a card. The amount that we were told wasn’t 18% of the cost of the drink though. Not sure if that’s because they get a % of all the swipes. We always tip extra, but have noticed on the past couple of cruises that not many we’re giving extra tips. We hardly have received paper to sign, we always give cash.

Are you sure the vouchers don’t include gratuities, because last year a bar server told us how much he gets per drink. And we were using our D+ drinks….we always tip for the drinks too.

You moving to Florida? We live an hour twenty from either PC or Tampa and use both for cruises

This makes 💯 sense…..same strategy works for friends….and I have been known to use it for that

I enjoy to see others interpretations, especially something that has been around as long as this has….BUT I also love to go the theater on broadway and see original shows.

Have you seen Effectors on Wonder? I liked it for the drones we saw on the original on Odyssey, but it’s even better on Wonder. I dont follow the point of the show, but the special effects are good

As @firefly333 said, it was on Oasis until 2014 then moved to Symphony. We saw it on Oasis when we were on it during the inaugural season. Sorry it left. EDIT TO ADD: we’ll probably have to book Icon now to see the Wizard

Agree with your list except for Cats. I tried to watch a few times and never even made it to the intermission break. Had forgotten about Hairspray. What ship is that on again?

I love the theme and so I’ll probably like their version. Same as Mamma Mia. I know some don’t like it, but I love the music and the show. I also love The Book, I love the music, dancing, acrobatics, drumming and even the singing. I don’t care what the plot is…..

Do you have any recommendations for a private transfer to Ravenna from Venice? That would be best for us with our luggage. Thanks!

We plan to spend a couple of nights pre-cruise in Ravenna, (DH wants to visit that area). We’ve already been to Venice, so didn’t intend to stay there. Since we’re staying in Ravenna, we’ll need to get there from the airport whether we fly in to Bologna or Venice, so our decision will depend on price of flights and how to get to Ravenna from the airport the easiest way.

Sometimes fat fingers or long fingernails may hit the wrong answer. 😉
