  1. I have a filled prescription prescribed by my doctor. Thankfully my insurance covered the cost. Of course, my husband has been in the health care industry his entire career, we would never jeopardize others.
  2. We will bring our own Covid tests and RX for Paxlovid to the ship. This seems like a lot of money for the medical treatment.
  3. We are on the same cruise and in Roatan we are going to the GumbaLimbo eco park. We were there in 2013 and it was a really fun day and hope to find the same this year. Why not join the roll call for this cruise, there are quite a few people who have already joined, you are likely to get ideas there.
  4. That's what I thought. I'm sure we will find something, have never been hungry on a ship!!!🙂
  5. Is there room service the afternoon of embarkation day?
  6. While we haven't gone so far as to have lunch somewhere local we do regularly show up later to embark. I asked the question because we are new to Oceania and didn't know what the protocols were. Pretty sure we will stick to our 1PM or after arrival. I like your idea though and perhaps sometime when we are embarking in a port that is of interest we may do exactly as you say. Miami just isn't one of them for us. Thanks!🙂
  7. I get that completely. We just prefer to be able to place our bags in the room, so we will arrive a little later to insure we are able to do that.
  8. PH1? What should we expect time-wise?
  9. Thank you, I was wondering if I could do this since our reservation is through a TA.
  10. ok......then I guess we won't arrive until after 1PM....
  11. I have tried to book an excursion on our Dec 11 Vista cruise. I put the desired one in my cart and then when I go to the cart it states "Cart is Empty" I have tried this repeatedly the last few days. Does anyone know why this would happen?
  12. Another new Oceania cruiser question: If you have a boarding time of 11:00 or 12:00 and your stateroom isn't ready are you able to place your carry on luggage in the room or somewhere so you don't have to drag it with you around the ship?
  13. I'm sure I won't be awake to do this. We are PH1, what are our chances of getting a table for 2 if we wait till 5-6AM ish?
  14. Do they book up THAT fast that you need to be on line at midnight? Had not planned on that for our Vista cruise that should open up dining for us come this Thursday.
  15. I don't know if you've been on the E class or not but I have done 2 TA's on the Apex and there was canned music every day in the martini bar area and not in the least bit subtle. It's loud enough that if you are in Le Petit Chef right next to it the charm of Le Petit is lost since the canned music from the martini bar area invades the restaurant. So it absolutely IS true. Yes there is live music in Eden. There is also live music in the martini bat area, but when it's not there it's all canned music.
  16. Thanks. How far in advance will you be able to log in and select time slots?
  17. Another new Oceania cruise question: We will be on Vista beginning December 11th. How does Oceania determine boarding times?
  18. Celebrity does not have much "roving classical, jazz, blues, rock musicians" especially on the E class ships, a LOT of canned music. Celebrity does have good to great shows in the theatre, 2 shows per night, most are very enjoyable. All Celebrity ships have a running track of some sort. On longer cruises (TA's for example) they do allow the use of either a MDR or Spec. Rest for game playing but have never seen a continental breakfast served, just a coffee & water station. Celebrity is charging crazy rates at this point so we have moved onto Oceania and also have a Princess TA booked.
  19. Agree, the original Qsine was great and great fun too. We sponsored several dinners there from Cruise Critic roll calls on Reflection, Silhouette and Eclipse. We have done Le Petit, it was fine but it's a one time only thing.
  20. We much prefer the S class on Celebrity. We did enjoy the Rooftop Grill on Apex, much more than Lawn Club on the S class. Entertainment is not a major factor for us, though I was impressed with many of the shows in the theater. We generally like to sit as far back as possible, makes it easier to slip out during the show if it's not to our liking. Not really concerned about that on Oceania. Would love to try Seabourn sometime too.....yes definitely first world problems.
