We are booking same room on Allura in 2025. Donβt think we will be returning to Celebrity for the foreseeable future.

Agree.

We are in 11071. It is the beginning of the extended balconies on 11. Great set up, we would book every time if possible. The noise from the staff door hasnβt bothered us because we are early risers.

We are on the Oceania Vista right now. The service everywhere has been amazing and the food just wonderful. We were so disappointed in our last 2 Celebrity cruises, with the cutbacks in quality and service and ridiculous increases in prices for everything. Our stateroom on Oceania is a PH1, equivalent in space to between an SS or CS on X for half of what it would have cost on X. Nice to feel our $$ are well spent again. To the OP β¦ keep looking there are better options out there than X right now.

We are on Vista now, our 1st Oceania cruise. What a lovely ship. The service has been amazing everywhere. Our dinner in Toscana was excellent, food and service. Best meal on a ship in many many years. Great way to start our cruise. Red Ginger was good, service excellent, but not as good as expected after so many reviews here about how good it was. MDR last night was a very good experience after reading about slow service there . We did not experience that at all. We also like Waves, a lot!Great place for lunch. Our butler, Sup, is also excellent. Is taking great care of us. Several have mentioned the ship being cold, while we have noticed isolated areas like that, we found all dining rooms on the warm side. Our stateroom, a PH1 on deck 11 is beautiful. We have an βLβ shaped balcony with 2 chairs, table and one lounge, very nice. Day 4 and we are happy. Much less entertainment then other ships but that hasnβt bothered us so far.ππ

Room service from specialty restaurants with your butler?
Gracie115 replied to Clutj's topic in Oceania Cruises
When we booked we took the last PH1 available. It is on the 11th deck but near the back which has a somewhat larger balcony from I can see on deck plans. Not too concerned about the overhang, at least if it rains we won't get wet. Just happy to be boarding in 3 short days. -
And that's ok...... stopped buying pictures on board a long time ago. (we might take a selfie or twoπ)

Not certain but pretty sure they started doing that again post Covid.

I think this was an "Ascent" thing. Certainly had nothing like it on or 2 Apex cruises in the last year.

We have booked Toscana for our 1st night on our 1st Oceania cruise which begins in 9 days!!! We've booked Specialty Restaurants the first night on other lines and found it a much better option than the main dining rooms. Hopefully we will find the same on Oceania. Can't wait to board!!π

Cost of Ultimate Dining on 8 night cruise
Gracie115 replied to Gracie115's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thank you all!!!!π -
I am helping a friend with a reservation and one of the questions he has is how much the "Ultimate dining package" would cost on an 8 night Symphony of the Seas cruise? I can't find that info on the Royal website anywhere so wondering if anyone here can give me at approximate amount for a 7 or 8 night cruise in the recent months. Thanks for any help provided.

Of course! We're just very excited about being on our 1st Oceania cruise. Actually also very glad that there are no actual "formal" (Princess) or "elegant chic" (Celebrity) or "dress your best" (HAL) evenings, lol.....but, ya know, I've got this outfit I've never worn and what the heck, I figured it would be fun to do for one evening. The rest of the evenings I'll be as casual as is possible (no holey jeans though...π)

We will. We are celebrating an Anniversary. My husband will not be wearing a tux but a tie and jacket and I will wear something that is more than "country club casual." It never matters to us what someone else wears so hopefully it won't matter to anyone else either.

Long black skirt and top

I do know there are no formal nights but if we were dress formal on a night or two would we feel out of place and uncomfortable. This would be on Vista.
-
No you canβt. Luminae is at opposite end of ship from the MDRβs, so the kitchen is too far away.

Eden has certainly fallen from Grace π
Gracie115 replied to Waterluv's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Smart. We paid the $50 per person when we were there. It was good, but none of the 4 of us were raving about it. Would definitely not pay $85.00 PP ... that's crazy and before any drinks are added. Heading to Oceania'x new Vista in just a few weeks. All Specialty Restaurants are included. We are excited about trying something different. -

When we dined in Eden on Apex on the spring TA there was no entertainment at all in the restaurant.
