  1. You can download the new one and still keep the old one, so no harm on downloading it now. I downloaded it about a week after it was available and I've had no problems with it.
  2. Yes I'm on the roll call and that is where I plan to post my tour once im able to.organoze it. No one else has ppste a tour for Nazac Lines. Princess does offer it for $800 - which is a ridiculous price.
  3. I have found https://www.southamericanssecrets.com/ that has tours from the port for about half the price of the ship. Trying to arrange a group tour with them and hoping for a better price. I think you could probably take a taxi to the airport and back and do it on your own for less.
  4. I would like to join or arrange a private tour from the port (San Martin) to the Nasca Lines from the Pisco airport. Anyone done this? Any suggestions or help appreciated.
  5. It is the same with Plus. You pay the difference between $15 and the price of the drink plus th 18 percent on the difference. I do it all the time. If you are charged for the full drink price, go to guest services for an adjustment.
  6. This is good advice - the port talks from a destination host are very informative, especially if you are doing a port on your own.
  7. They do have champagne or sparkling wine and everyone had some but me. I didn't want any so I never chased it down, but they do hand it our and if you don't get any handed to you, you can politely ask.
  8. The art auctions can be interesting. I'd never buy anything, but I do enjoy listening sometimes if I have nothing better to do. I must have that look of I'm not really interested because I'm never offered the free champagne or sparkling wine.😭😭😭
  9. The pendant says from $25, the bracelet from $45, the sports bands from $10 and the sustainable bands from $17. I'd suggest just wait until you get on the ship, then go to kiosk where they sell the accessories and you can try them out and get what you like best. Just go early as some do sell out.
  10. I have the bracelet too and I really like it. I've used it for 3 to 4 cruises so far.
  11. No happy hours since they started with the drink packages. Used to love them.
  12. If you do not care about cabin location, go for a guarantee cabin. $1500 can go a long way.
  13. If you live in the UK the question is moot - you cannot get it shipped to anywhere but US and Canada. You may be able to board with those with mobility restrictions.
  14. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Take some books or podcasts with you and if there is nothing that meets your interests, you can always find a quiet.place to enjoy thise. There are enrichment talks, trivia, games, etc. scheduled through out the day. You can go to any of those. Just sit in the piazza and people watch. My husband and I have different intrest and I'll often go off on my own and do different things. And I'm almost 70.
  15. Sorry duplicate post
  16. I will have a long wait at the Lima airport for an very early am flight and would like to purchase lounge access or a day hotel pass for about 6 hours. Can anyone assist with options and/or point me in the right direction?
  17. I would suggest first using the chat feature rather than calling. If they can't help you on chat, see if you can get a number for EZaire from them. Anything to avoid the call center. This is why you need to fine a good Princess Vacation Planner.
  18. If you want to book your seats right away there are 3 options. 1) Book directly with the airline, pay for your flight and select your seat. 2) Book a restricted fare with Princess, pay for it and select your seats. 3) Book a regular fare with Princess, contact the EZaire department or your PVP, asked for early ticketing, pay your fare and select your seats. I suppose there is a 4th option and that would be to choose another airline that allows you to select seat prior to payment. With Busniss class or Primium economy you also almost always have the ability to book your seats prior to payment.
  19. You can order anything for breakfast. Doesn't have to be on the menu.
  20. I think I was on the same cruise as you. As a 15 plus Cruiser, I was disappointed with this cruise on many levels. One was the ship, my last 3 or 4 cruises were on new ships and I did miss some of the venues that are not on the older ships like Princess Live and Alfredos. The other was the food. It was just OK most of the time. I only had two really spectacular meals in the dining room. Most disappointing was the staff - everyone was just doing their job and nothing more. Our room steward never came by to introduce herself, dinner in the dining room took forever to order and between each course, we were invisible to staff in the bars (even putting an order in on the app while we were sitting in Crooners was not successful). Everyday we went to the Sanctuary and everyday we asked for an extra towel - you think after a few days they'd figure it out. I finally just gave up and started getting them myself. This is the first cruise we have ever taken when our wait staff, steward and others did not get an additional cash tip from us. I did not buy a FCC and we have one cruise booked with Princess for next year. I hope Princess gets their act together by then or we'll be looking for alternate lines.
  21. I'm just of the Emerald and these lights didn't bother me at all. Not that bright and they don't stay on that long. I actually liked them, but I seem to be in the minority.
  22. They were offering these (or something similar) at the Future Cruise Consultant on board our last cruise.
  23. We just got off a 14 day cruise on the Emerald and it is the first time in 20 cruises that we did not tip extra to our dining room staff, steward or any other staff for that matter. With the exception of a couple of bartenders, everyone was just doing their job and ONLY their job. Nothing extra. Have one cruised booked for Dec 2024. Hope things turn around d by then or we'll be looking for another line.
  24. Why is it cheaper? Have you ever cruised out of Galvestan? Far from the airport and mainly Mexican ports of call = cheap.
