Newbie question as we just turned Diamond and will cruise next week. I know we don’t get much but when and where do you select your gifts? Do you select once aboard ? Not sure how it works. Thanks in advance for the answer.

Yes that would be WDAF-TV channel 4. I know both Phil and especially Frank Boal really well. I worked a lot of Chiefs road games with Frank and his photographer who was a good friend of mine. Good times.

It was ok just not for me. I would have rather seen the city. If I remember right there wasn’t a lot excursions that took you to the airport afterwards. It was warm in there but not uncomfortable. I forget the name of the place but they are pretty famous for their glass figurines.

I like WT 101.

It bites you on the front end due to it’s high proof. I like it over ice as it gets watered down it becomes very smooth. I have a lot on bourbon connoisseur friends that say this is there go to bourbon.

I like all of them. I think I would have to pass on $187 for Pappy. My bottle of the Van Winkle 12 year Family Reserve is good but there are more readily available bottles that are more affordable and better tasting. Nice to know that some people still believe in customer service. I’ve had all three. I’m a big fan of the Rare Breed. I like the 1920 but I like the Forester Statesman better. BT is is a solid staple.

Don’t worry I can talk to him on the Bella cruise about not going in to tv news. It looks glamorous but I can tell him what it’s really like.

Im sorry. I wish I had good advice for you. Follow your heart. What I did is ask my waiter about the availability of getting Bhurji for breakfast every morning in the MDR. He brought over the dining room manager who said that they could accommodate me in the mornings and asked for my cabin number to tell the chef. So all I had to do each morning was tell the waiter that the mgr. had approved Bhurji for cabin number ####.

I love Eggs Bhurji! I even asked in the main dining room if I could get it in the mornings and they accommodated me every morning.

Sorry to hear about your boo boo. Thankfully you were not hurt any worse. Pictures look fantastic. I’ve heard great things about Eagle Beach. It’s on my list now to visit.
