  1. Sorry it was disappointing. Ever restaurant on every ship is different. Who knows if you try it again on a different ship the result may be different. I like Tin Cup. Interesting that they even had it. Ehats the name of that restaurant? I need to stop there on my next visit.
  2. @dani negreanu Love the pic! I wish we could have spent more time in Venice on our honeymoon cruise that left there. It was our first cruise so we flew in the day of (never do that again) and went straight from airport to ship. We had an excursion on our return to a glass factory ( never doing that again) and then straight to airport. I need to visit again and stay your pics convinced me.
  3. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts. CP 150 is my favorite specialty restaurant. Make sure to get the cucumber martini. Cheers!
  4. Thanks I will definitely check it out on our next visit. I hear Kat the bartender makes some really great cocktails.
  5. Hey Bourbon fans. There is a new bourbon bar in St. Maarten across the street from Guhlomar’s Whiskey Paradise called Luxbar. Check it out next time you are in St. Maarten. https://www.thedailyherald.sx/supplements/out-n-about/luxbar-st-maarten-s-first-premium-whisky-bar
  6. I like it when the Schooner Bar is towards the front by the theater. A little out of the way.
  7. Totally agree I hate that about Atlanta’s airport. Those people movers are great. I hate flying into there but when we fly Southwest we always change planes there. I always pick a flight with a large layover window to give time to get to the next gate.
  8. The parade was over 25 blocks long 10-12 deep. A lot of them did not make it to the end. But here is a actual photo A friend of mine took with a drone.
  9. Thanks for the pics. I have seen the Balcones. It’s ok. I’ve never seen the Yellow Rose. It’s nice they have a rye too. Any Templeton Rye? Sad no Woodford or Makers.
  10. Interesting I haven’t heard of that brand and I don’t think we get many Texas bourbon/whiskey up here in Missouri.
  11. I wonder what the deal is with Maker's, Liberty of the Seas did not have any either? It's not like it's in short supply. Nice that they had Whistle Pig. Do you mean Four Roses instead of Yellow Rose? Shame there was no Woodford either.
  12. I too loved the ease of getting in and out of the 3 terminals. I was skeptical if I would like the new terminal. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes there is more walking but it's laid out nice and the pluses of more restaurants and shops and larger gate areas with power and usb make this a very up to date addition.
  13. Had a great time last night attending a VIP open house of our brand new KCI terminal. Thanks to the airport public relations director for getting me tickets. The construction has been going on over the last two years. This $1.5 billion project features over 40 gates, a 6,000 car garage, many restaurants and shops and local commissioned art throughout. beautiful hanging sculptures. This has moving lights in it. Very cool. A lot more walking than the old 3 smaller terminal system. Lots of space. I like the people movers. 40 gate’s expandable to 50. Incorporating KC’s jazz history. Lots of restaurants including several bbq restaurants. Nice seating areas with plugs for charging under the seats. Even work stations where you can work. Nice big bathrooms that even tell you stalls available and where’s the nearest next bathroom. Bag claim is downstairs with plenty of room. The terminal opens next week and we will fly out of it on March 11th for the Bella Cruise. With a 6:30am flight, I have peace of mind knowing the layout and where to go. I hope all of you will get a chance to fly into Kansas City and see this new terminal.
  14. I never saw that concert but I did see Passion Play with its incredible theatrics. I can’t remember the first one I saw. Never saw them in concert but I have several of his concert dvds that I’ve watched many times as I am a fan of his drummer Carter Beauford .
  15. Great story and beautiful pictures. Congratulations to you and Andy for 35 years of love and happiness. We should toast next month on Oasis!
  16. Barbara Streisand for sure, I agree. That version of Stairway is incredible and makes me cry every time. Seeing the expression of Page and Plant in the audience is priceless.
