I should have thought about that. We did book a suite last November for my retirement cruise. This will be a regular balcony but for our Liberty sailing in October Linda will be in a Balcony as a solo and me across the hall in an inside as a solo. That will give us enough points to be Diamond. Thanks for the encouragement. I am leaning to run to Central Park where Jamieโs, CP150 and Chops are. Whoever doesnโt have people standing in line for reservations is where Iโll go. Hoping they can book Hibachi without going there. I want to book it first as it fills up fast. Also going to CP150 twice so I hope to get those reserved. Yes Iโm am not looking forward to getting up that early but Linda and I will have suitcases packed in the car and take our showers before bedtime so we will get up get dressed and go.

Well it's crunch time as we get ready to leave for our cruise on Symphony this week. We will fly out on Friday. Got most of the clothes organized. We've been cleaning the house for the dog sitter. I am a little worried in that she has never house sit for Lizzy and Charlie just Maggie and Penny. She may have her hands full. I hope they behave and don't freak out because we are not there. Confirmed hotel reservation at Hilton Downtown Miami, Wish I could get our boarding passes but can't do that till 36 hours before the flight. We've got the TSA Precheck so I will be interested in how smoothly that goes. The main thing I'm stressing out about is getting my reservations for the UDP> I have this nightmare at night that I'm not going to be able to get all the restaurants I want. Which would kind of ruin my review. Since I'm doing a "as if live" I'll start it when I get back on the 24th. I will try and pop in here from time to time and post something. So it will be a busy week with a very early wakeup on Friday to get to a 6:00am flight. I plan on leaving the house at 3:15am. It's going to be brutal but I'll try napping on the plane to Atlanta. Really excited for this one.hard to believe once we get back we will turn around and drive to Galveston to board Liberty two and half weeks later. With double points afterwards, can you say "Diamond?"

So tonight I made something completely different. Ever tried a "Tequila Old Fashioned?" The key is to use a really good Anejo Tequila. I used a new brand that I really like called "Una Familia." It tasted outstanding. I never thought you could do this. Tequila Old Fashioned 1.5oz Good Anejo Tequila 1 Teaspoon simple syrup 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters Garnish with Orange Peel Cheers!!!!!!

Boarding Day Strategy for Speciality Dining Bookings
Sea Dog replied to Li_Ras's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I take a calendar spreadsheet with me that has each day and what restaurant and time that I would like with me. It's so much easier and time saving to have everything you want written down. I also have a pen with me to make any changes on the sheet if I don't get exactly what I want. -
My heart breaks for you. It will be so hard for the kids to lose the only pet they have never known. I hope life gets better for you I know you must be hurting. I feel for you and you are in my thoughts. So glad you got to hear him. He really is an amazing musician. This makes me so happy. I love this!!!!!!!! He loves his Chiefs. He texted me later that he met you and that song I am pretty sure was a song he and I wrote together for my wedding that he performed. OMG I love this photo so much. She is just so beautiful. You are blessed to have her. Is she a specific breed? I've never seen a cat like that before.

Is the dining package worth it?
Sea Dog replied to Cruisingrampy's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We are getting the UDP on Symphony next week. I mainly wanted to get it to try all the restaurants on board. Some of these restaurants like CP150 are great and better than some land based restaurants that you would pay 2-3 times more. Worth it is subjective and I would never criticize anyone who wanted to buy it. It's a matter of personal choice. I like good food and good drinks. It's one of the reason why I cruise. -
"LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas B2B - September 11, 2022
Sea Dog replied to Radio's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Yippee another great Radio report. I will be following and since I will be on Oasis this coming March, I will be interested in staffing, food quality and any alcohol shortages in the bars. Thanks and have a fantastic cruise. -
They seem to get angrier and angrier now a days if you don't give them what they want. Oh no. those staph infections can be very serious. I'm hoping the the antibiotics will do the trick and get rid of the infection. I know that feeling. It seems like when it rains it pours. I've been there and I'm thinking of you and your family.

George I am so sorry about your Mom. Itโs hard realizing they are at the end and need constant care. Lindaโs mom went through the same thing. We hated the fact that she had to be in a nursing home. But she made the best out of it. Sounds like she has lived a good long life. Ha love this. I can envision a couple of Kraken Coladaโs sitting on the bar.
