  1. No cash, no booze for us. Could be. Someone not getting paid for deliveries.
  2. I agree with all of that…I guess cruise lines not buying anything for over a year put them behind the 8 ball so to speak. I have been on Royal and Celebrity recently, some supply issues on BOURBON but no cases of running out of everything in a category… I also enjoy NCL, I hope they get this fixed by next April. I believe they will.
  3. Honestly, IDGAS what others do re tips..I leave the auto grats in place, and tip extra all through the cruise in CASH where I see fit. that seems simple enough to me.
  4. What are you trying to do online? that might help someone help you. I have read calling early in the morning is better. Good luck.
  5. I thought everyone did that..maybe it’s just us,
  6. Almost all states require that alcohol come from an alcohol distributor, not a retailer..it’s called the 3 Tier System. The three-tier system of alcohol distribution is the system for distributing alcoholic beverages set up in the United Statesafter the repeal of Prohibition.[1] The three tiers are importers or producers; distributors; and retailers. The basic structure of the system is that producers can sell their products only to wholesale distributors who then sell to retailers, and only retailers may sell to consumers. Producers include brewers, wine makers, distillers and importers. The three-tier system is intended to prohibit tied houses and prevent "disorderly marketing conditions."[2] Some states chose to become alcoholic beverage control jurisdictions after Prohibition. In these states, part or all of the distribution tier, and sometimes also the retailing tier, are operated by the state government itself (or by contractors operating under its authority) rather than by independent private entities. The only state with a privately operated retailing and distribution system that does not require any form of three-tier system is the State of Washington. In Washington, retailers may purchase alcoholic beverages directly from producers, may negotiate volume discounts, and may warehouse their inventory themselves. However, the three-tier system largely remains in fact a reality in Washington despite the lack of a law requiring it.[3]
  7. Actually they put more money into the crews bank account…mainly due to tax reasons.
  8. Drapes closed? I don’t remember the last time I closed ours on a cruise.
  9. Exactly, I wondered when y’all were going to figure it out.
  10. Splinters are possible from these kind…fact is, stuff happens…nothing is fool proof.
  11. Take your Tylenol and take a nap in your cabin, got it.
  12. I never really thought about needing a menu...I'm either checking current cruises/excursions..easy to find, or doing a mock booking to look for new cruises/check current cruise prices...also easy to find. YMMV.
  13. Unless you've been involved in port costs negotiations, we'll never know. Supplies/logistics etc come into play too.
  14. Do people really hate reading and learning things that much....? It took me all of 5 minutes just a moment ago...
  15. I agree with that..if folks would just shower off, the pools would have a shot at staying clear past 2-3 Pm.
  16. People not rinsing off before getting in the pools is usually the biggest issue.sweat/sunscreen etc, .contrary to popular belief.
  17. That’s not chlorine you smell. It’s chloramine. Properly sanitized/balanced pools have no smell. https://poolonomics.com/chloramines/
  18. I suppose that would fix things…sounds too easy, nothing to complain about then.
  19. I'm not testing unless I need it to board a ship. Period. I don't see the point. Y'all carry on. Sailed 3 times since the restart, no covid so far. Sailing again in September...
  20. Flying in a day early is the bare minimum these days, lesson learned.
