  1. Maybe try the cocktail in the observation lounge that matches your zodiac sign? It's a fun place to hang out and get a great view during the day or enjoy silent disco at night.
  2. The MDR menus posted recently (at least the ones I saw) were for an Edge class ship and were incomplete as they left off the page with each dining room's specific options. These menus are not applicable to the Millennium. I haven't seen any confirmed changes to the M class MDR menus. If you want to see current menus, go to your app, click Select a Different Cruise and then at the bottom browse to your ship and one of the most current sailings.
  3. Both have essentially the same complimentary dining options. I'm personally partial to the M class ships (Summit) but I think the S class (Silhouette) is probably popular with more passengers. I don't think you can go wrong with either option.
  4. I am allergic to dairy and Celebrity has always done an amazing job taking care of me. In Luminae so much can be modified on the spot that I didn't even have to always pre-order the night before (like I always do in the MDR).
  5. The language on the website is very confusing and even contradictory. Someone today confirmed with Celebrity they are still included in the Classic package.
  6. Look at the definition of fully vaccinated on Celebrity's website for your particular cruise. I don't think boosters are required in most cases to be fully vaccinated. It really depends on where you are sailing though as COVID requirements vary from no requirements at all to both testing and vaccination requirements depending on the sailing and some scenarios in between.
  7. If your sailing isn’t showing complete menus yet, browse to a more current sailing. There should be a link to switch to another sailing and then below the list of your cruises, a link to browse other ships.
  8. Unless your sailing is in the next day or two, this is likely just the fact that the app is not very accurate until closer to your sailing. That’s true of menus, activities, hours, etc.
  9. Royal still kept many of their classic dishes and others still show up on some of their menus. They just released the new menus this week and it feels more like a refresh with new dishes instead of what many feared would be just an elimination of old favorites. Although, obviously some are disappointed with the changes, there was a lot of positive comments on the thread I read on Royal’s board yesterday with the release of these menus. I’m actually hoping the new menu gets implemented in time for my Royal cruise on Friday.
  10. Maybe for the serious coffee/tea drinkers who need/want that first cup to wake up. But not everyone uses room service the same way. Although I would sometimes order a hot breakfast through room service, I have absolutely no interest in just continental breakfast. I'd rather walk up to the buffet or head to the MDR. I realize not everyone is like me but I think there are enough with this mindset that it will make a difference in the number of breakfast room service orders.
  11. On an order by order basis, no. But it discourages people from ordering room service in the first place. Less orders absolutely does mean less effort and less staff required.
  12. Someone called today (see one of the other threads) and confirmed this is not true. Basic non-alcoholic beverages are still included in the classic package.
  13. If you download the app and sign in, you will find bar menus with prices. It’s all under “Dining”.
  14. It should say CALL for the classic package or PALL for the premium package.
  15. It doesn't clearly say non-alcoholic drinks aren't included but it does specifically say that the Premium includes everything in the classic package plus a list of the typical non-alcholic drinks that used to be included. "Our new All Included* package comes with a Classic Beverage Package, which allows you to consume an unlimited array of water, beers, cocktails, frozen drinks, and wines by the glass up to $10 per serving. The Classic Beverage Package also comes with a 15% discount on all bottles of wine. Premium Beverage Packages include all of the options available in Classic Beverage Packages as well as premium coffees, freshly squeezed juices and bottled and canned juices, San Pellegrino, Red Bull, Vitamin Water, Honest Iced Teas, craft and artisan beers, premium liquors, Coca Cola products, premium bottled water, wines by the glass up to $17, and a 20% discount on bottles of wine." https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/cruise-drink-packages At the bottom of drink packages page on Celebrity's website (https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages) there is a link to "Guide to Cruise Drink Packages" which takes you to the blog post.
  16. My gut says that is just poor updating of the website, especially since the Celebrity blog (linked from the drink package page on Celebrity's website) says the exact opposite (that no non-alcoholic drinks are included). I'm hoping someone on board can confirm what truly is now included.
  17. I did on a 5 night cruise so I'm sure the same is true on a 4 night cruise.
  18. And that may be true because the zero proof package includes more than what used to be in the classic beverage package. So I would be surprised if the entire zero proof package actually is included. Did you ask what non-alcoholic drinks are included in the classic package?
  19. Are you sure? Everything in the zero alcohol package *is* included in the classic alcohol package. Do you mean classic no-alcohol package? This blog post on Celebrity's website (which appears updated for the new packages) implies non-alcoholic beverages are no longer included in the classic package plus the drink package comparison is completely silent on non-alcoholic beverages. Personally, I don't think this blog post is right as I'm doubtful Celebrity eliminated all non-alcoholic drinks from their base package. https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/cruise-drink-packages Now compare that with what I see in my cruise planner when I try to purchase the classic package (the exact same language for zero proof drinks is also listed in the premium package): Zero Proof: Acqua Panna water, Evian water, San Pellegrino, Premium coffees, Red Bull & Editions, Sodas, Premium teas, Vitamin water, Bottled Iced Teas, Aqua Spa Fresh Juices, Zero Proof Cocktails Frozen & Non-Frozen This seems to be an expansion of what the classic package included (fancy waters and energy drinks are two I know previously were not included). I'm not sure I believe this is true either. @Larry lobster I expect your classic package still includes basic non-alcoholic drinks.
  20. I'm pretty sure that is just an oversight on the website. I can't imagine Celebrity actually removed the non-alcoholic options under the classic package and I haven't heard any reports from people on board that they have.
  21. Any day now. It was at about a week out for my last two cruises that they slowly started getting added to the app but nothing is firm until you are on your cruise (and even then things can change). I've seen activities get moved around in those days before. In the app, you can choose "select another sailing" and browse to your ship and the current sailing if you want to get an idea of what types of activities to expect.
  22. The full list of benefits gives a little more details and mentions this benefit is only available on S and M class ships: https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/updated-captains-club-brochure-v6.pdf
  23. This screen shot does not include the exclusive starters and entrees that are unique to each of the four Edge class dining rooms.
  24. On the Celebrity app, under your reservation, on one of the screens in the bottom right is a Safety Icon. If you click on that, you will see where your muster station is.
  25. I agree. And they should open up the cruise planner for those with early or late dining times to make reservations - right now you can't if you are assigned a fixed time. And they shouldn't continue to allow people to choose early or late at the time of booking - right now you still have all three options when booking an Edge class ship and once they hit the limit for anytime, you are stuck selecting a fixed time knowing, possibly knowing you won't be able to get that time once you board.
