  1. Varies by ship and dates But there should be a commonality .... maybe the wine selection varies, but can still be traded for wine ... maybe it's 2 coffee cards loaded 1 by 1 but it is still there ... and so forth
  2. I've asked my CVP if it's still available. But even if not, then the Plus & Premier are still not cost effective for me. Wifi 7.50 day Tips 16 day H20 1.00 day [Bought dz water bottles = 7.08] Latte 3.50 (lg = 2 small) day Tea. 2.00 day 30 vs 60 a day If I can't trade minibar for coffees then for a bottle of wine = 0
  3. I called room service and they switched for me. Next time I just have to tell my steward & they'll do the switch
  4. Thank you! That's a relief ... heres how it looks on the Droid when switched to Desktop Site for my next 3 cruises:
  5. Not exactly. A Cruise Critic member wanted Princess to do that but the 'suggestion' was just chatter on these boards.
  6. I guess I should state that I do not have a computer just a smart phone. So I missed that. Looks like changes only pertain to Plus & Premier pkgs. Still can't find coffee pkg
  7. Apologies but I am having difficulty finding the T&C's after October 2022. Can you post the link? TY
  8. Ditto ... can we trade for coffee pkg / buy pkg / / a copy of the IC prices Unless a pot of tea / latte jump to $10 each, I'm still better off in Standard booking Do I still have elite tea setup, @HaveDogWillTravel?
  9. I have an HMO so no ... not outside USA. Is there a better way than the cruise line policy or do I just ante up the 8% of cruise fare??
  10. I just canceled my Princess Platinum insurance and thinking of just going with my credit card insurance. My comparison: #1 Cruise Fare is 906, insurance was 72.48, covered under USAA credit card #2 Cruise Fare is 4348, insurance was 345.03, 3K at risk. #3 Cruise Fare is 1938. Insurance was 155.04, 438 uncovered so 282.96 at risk I could buy USAA insurance on #2 but that's from LA. Just down the 101 a few hours. Must decide by end of month Taxes, fees, port expenses should be refundable anyway.
  11. If it's the transatlantic ending in Spain I'd hazard to guess that March 11 & 18 are 2 of them. Before March 11 might be too early and March 18 is final sea day. I don't sit on a bench either and you won't need to bring a pillow. (I'm a fellow solo and prefer to eat alone or with 1 friend)
  12. Bottled water is not included in the Plus package? I thought it was! Thanks for reminding me to order the 12 pk for $7 for my upcoming B2B. Wont go thru it on a single voyage but probably will in 3 weeks. I'm a standard pkg w/ coffee program person
  13. Princess covers 150% of cruise fare (supposedly but that's not my experience) whereas USAA credit card only covers up to $1500 of whatever I don't get back (which I'm guessing is taxes / fees / port fees / airline vouchers). And yes, it's the credit card.
  14. I do not pre-book dinner and go to the 5th deck midship MDR. Never an issue. > line dancing class at 9 am > Portuguese language lessons were 10 am in Take 5. Arrive early, it was quite popular > Crafting every sea day at 1pm in a specialty restaurant. Reservation not necessary. It's mostly origami anyway > Strings in piazza before dinner > Shows at 7:30 & 9:30 > Jazz 8pm every evening in Wheelhouse or Take 5 (depending on which ship I was on). Most band options also available after dinner > Grapevine last sea day at 3pm in oddly placed 6th deck restaurant I want to add 1 thing: once you are onboard you can see all the menus on your phone or TV. Then you can decide whether you want to go to the MDR, Gigis (aka: Alfredos), or which night to go to a specialty restaurant. The SD MaitreD can accommodate a same day or onboard reservation several days in advance. You might have to ask down at that restaurant but they will get you in. And it's a fairly quick process
  15. @voljeep I got my medallions at check-in in 2019. And there hasn't been any mention that Premier Elite board before Standard Elite yet
  16. Why would picking up a medallion at the port take any more time than picking up the key card did, pre medallion ????? Or picking the medallion up like we did in 2019?? (Yes 2019 cruises had the medallion too) Or how non-USA passengers do? IMHO this is much ado about nothing
  17. I just canceled my Princess Platinum insurance and thinking of just going with my credit card insurance. My comparison: Cruise #1 is 906, #2 is 4348, #3 is 1938. 18. INPUT: Request to institute coffee pkg on other lines (aka: Carnival) / keep it on Princess.
  19. INPUT: Request to institute coffee pkg on other lines (aka: Carnival) / keep it on Princess.
  20. I'm also on EmeraldPrincess 6/1/23. Will we have an Ambassador?
  21. Are they reading cruise critic where some posters state coffee card is useless to them?? Not useless to me
  22. Untrue. Although my CVP usually gets back to me in 24 hours. I have used the regular Princess number wen she was not available. In fact her voice mail message advises that you can call the regular number I also use chat. But to OP: I put it on hold, forward that booking to her, and ask for the switch (sometimes room, sometimes price). The only thing she sometimes asks me to do is to resubmit for shareholder OBC. Everything else is carried over (perks, flights, etc)
  23. I rebooked yesterday to lower cruise $××× and tried to reorder medallion today. It asked if I wanted to pay charge on ××× credit card. So now it's active. Picking up at port
  24. Suite tips are going up to $18/day/person, so that would leave $34.50 a day for beverages (irrelevant to me) You are assuming that I, a mere ordinary balcony solo cruiser, can afford a suite!! 😅🤣😂 If I could afford to pay dbl passsge in a suite as a solo I wouldn't care if Princess Plus or Princess Premier was cost effective (for me). As it is, I can afford the balcony due to my perks & the $7.08 waters and still have a specialty dinner, a few excursions, and a glass of wine if I choose to
