  1. # of passengers on this list: 1996: Carnival Sunshine - 3,002 pax 1997: POAU Explorer - 1998 pax 1998: Carnival Elation - 2190 pax 1998: Carnival Paradise - 2,124 pax 1998: Grand Princess - 2,590 lower berth pax / 3,100 max 1999: HAL MS Volendam - 1,432 pax 2000: HAL MS Zaandam - 1432 pax 2000: PO Aurora - 1,878 pax / 1,950 max Will it also come down to capacity?? Just wondering which, if any, of these are that 3rd ship
  2. Yes. Added to above list. But they stated 2 of the 3 to leave the fleet are Costa ships
  3. Lots of recent ads for Seaborn as an expedition cruise experience so doubt the 3rd would be there
  4. Costa Magica -> laid up cannot find a return date Costa Serena -> 'laid up until Dec 2023' Costa Deliziosa is their smallest ship so who knows??
  5. Wow. Costa line is depleting fast!! Selling 2 / transferred 3 to Carnival Costa neoRomantica -> gone Costa Victoria -> gone Costa Magica -> laid up Costa Serena -> 'laid up until Dec 2023' Costa Luminosa -> Carnival Luminosa Costa Venezia -> Carnival Venezia Costa Firenze -> Carnival Firenze Costa Fortuna -> same as Carnival Triumph & Carnival Victory so transfer??
  6. It was offered every night on Enchanted (Sept) and Caribbean (Dec)
  7. I just disembarked so will add a few notes: 1. Assigned table in Island Dining Room (Deck 5 MDR). Asked and got it (say Brad & Gayl say hi to Raju if you get him). Not available in other dining rooms 2. Vines doesn't 'officially' do wine flights but will give a few tasters and a main glass. Yeah, felt like a wine flight 3. Handmade pralines instead of those awful appetizers. Suites got chocolate covered strawberries 4. Lots of ppl went onshore in Colon Panama as our departure was delay a few hours. Check and see if you can too. 5. TONS and I mean whole families of sloths just outside the terminal at Parque Vargas in Limon. Literally across the street. N/C
  8. Incorrect. My Love Boat Sale 'SHORE EXCURSION CREDIT' and was supposed to be for the sailings next year as part of that sale but this voyage became eligible as it was drastically under booked That said, not continuing to follow this thread .... just thought it was interesting that the ship cannot differentiate between different types of OBC (other than refundable / nonrefundable)
  9. I thought the casino was now in what was the piazza. Also theater in the round. I've seen this well done with certain plays (Shakespeare comes to mind) but never with the Princess type musicals
  10. Yes. Wound up with only $14 balance due (after SD, Vines, $50 casino (casino bank wound up at $202 🤑), transfer back to airport). Smallest bill yet Walked off with $200 .... thanks to winning not losing in casino this time. They'll get it back in April
  11. Yes. Actually I haven't used it for shore excursions. Just Sabatinis, transfer back to plane, and drinks. Very little for casino.
  12. You SERIOUSLY don't read your contract?!? Not even the highlighted portion on the top of your travel summary?? Wow just wow. That's kinda like those hoping to cruise to Chile w/o visas getting upset they're denied passage because it's too much trouble to be in compliance. Or miss calculating a baby's age and thinking 82 days = 6 months. It is unfortunate but it is on them. Meanwhile enjoy Tenerife as it's a lovely Spanish island
  13. I have cruised many times since the restart and always with the same wait staff, table, & time. How does that differ from traditional dining?
  14. @jinpascoDon't really care if I'm 'grandfathered in.' The way I see it is if Princess wants me to have a medallion, they'll give me one .... either beforehand or upon boarding. And they do. @coo359a2so I can pay Princess / RCCL $16 or NCL $20 or have it rolled into my cruise price at Virgin (higher per day fare)?? Kinda a no brainer
  15. Do NOT go to Sprouts for wine in Dania Beach unless you want Pinot Grigio. Very disappointing selection
  16. The gratuities are shared among all the employees across all the ships so isn't it just supplemental wages?? My steward does not directly receive or lose wages / gratuities (FWIW I do not adjust and $1.50 a day is miniscule in the big picture but call it what it really is)
  17. I call room service and they credit my account immediately / pick up the minibar within 24 hrs
  18. No reservation needed but TravelTrotter reserved a "solo cruisers" table for 10 at 12:15 in September 2022. Felt great just walking in but I think that was bc we were a ship sponsored group
  19. They had non-alcoholic wine onboard at the bars as well as “zero-proof” mocktails so it must be available in MDR. Also these are available in my April 2023 voyage to pre-purchase: > Martinelli’s Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Cider 750ml Sparkling Apple Cider $12.98 > Sutter Home FRE Non-Alcoholic White Zinfandel 750ml California $18.88
  20. I've been to Panama so just skip it now and have tea on my balcony as we exit Gatun Lake. There's also a guest lecture onboard who goes over the story and other highlights
  21. Free laundry & minibar are the 2 perks that always had the most value for me.
  22. I do not believe FCC or FCD are transferable. This won't help OP but everyone else should look at their Circle Savings account at least once to see where their credits lie and what the expiration dates state (use by / book by / sail by). JMHO It is ultimately our individual responsibility to monitor that just like we do our bank accounts Goodwill credits expire this month (yes, including both my granddaughters') Nonrefundable expire 12/31/23 Refundable expire 12/32/24 Covid "onboard" FCC expire 12 months after being issued Every now & then there's an odd ball expiration (like mine that expire 5/1/23 bc my 1st CVP pushed it out to use on 1 particular voyage)
  23. Thank you @sabreline. I will test but before I catch my flight. No sense flying cross country if sick
