  1. Of all my cruises...I've never seen White & Gold participation. So that begs the question: "If they advertise White & Gold but nobody does it...do they still have White & Gold?" 😄
  2. Back when most ships had an actual library there were always games available there...but those days are gone.
  3. Just go back into the EZAir section as if you were going to change something. Poke around all you like...just don't actually change anything unless you see something you like. Or...you could actually start a "mock" booking and look at the rates that way.
  4. @Oakman58...there are a number of us who would be interested in trying to help you figure this out...but you're going to have to give us a bit more to go on. If it was just your intent to say what you did in your first post and nothing else...well...sorry you had trouble. We're all scratching our heads!
  5. I have never thought that our drinks were watered down...
  6. Well...it's not in email format. It let's you save it as a text file.
  7. I've always heard that you cannot "lose" an FCD...if not used during the validity period it is refunded back to you. At least that's what they advertise...
  8. They've gotten a LOT better at getting this handled over about the past month or so...
  9. That could very well be the case here...
  10. Ah! That would explain it. My sailing is far enough out where I've not really paid any attention to that level of detail yet. Plus...I've booked a post-cruise hotel so it really doesn't impact me as far as that goes!
  11. Very often it is closed by the time we board as well. I think they close around 1:30 or so. We just hit the buffet!
  12. You beat me to it! Yes, this is the easy way to do this...especially if it is a very long chat session. Before you close out the chat window just click on the 3 horizontal bars (in upper left corner) and pick "save" (or however the option is labeled.) I do this quite often unless my topic is just really trivial. I don't know how much weight this would actually hold if you had to offer it up as "proof" of something said...but at least you'll have it.
  13. This is an interesting concept... I have an upcoming sailing where disembarkation includes an overnight (coincidentally in Quebec as well!) That just seems like a strange way to "end" a cruise...ship arrives in port but you can spend the night on the ship if you like. What's next? Some 5 day cruises where both embarkation and disembarkation you can spend the night on a ship while docked? Is this the next cost-cutting ploy by Princess to save the cost of fuel? 😄
  14. I agree...we need more info. On almost every cruise I have done there are excursions listed specifically including wheelchair access.
  15. I know I have spent some time at either GS or the Excursion Desk trying to make heads or tails out of what shows on your account and the crazy way that they do it. While it *may* be an acceptable way of doing accounting...it certainly is NOT the way *I* learned basic accounting in college!
  16. I don't think I've ever seen a cruise where there was not at least one DR open for lunch. (It's usually just one, though.)
  17. I can't speak definitively in regards to the Diamond...but given that the MDR would be open for lunch I would think your best bet would be in the DR.
  18. Very good point by @azbirdmom. Don't log in and just "go through the motions" without completing a booking and see what comes up. Also...welcome to CruiseCritic!
  19. If you are planning on trying to make the "early" show you need to allow anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours time in the MDR. You might get lucky and find that they are serving much quicker, but very often this will be the time required. Plan accordingly...or just wait for the later show.
  20. Keeping up with your account is actually *one* thing the Medallion App does fairly well...
  21. You will generally get quick replies...but you'll never know it unless you "Follow"!
  22. It's easy to overlook...but for those who do not post regularly be sure to "Follow" your own posts. Below your text you will see where to do this. Or...after you have submitted you can go back and select this...near the title.
  23. Have never been to Sitka, so cannot help you there. In Juneau we have done the Sled Dog Mushers Camp and the Heli Tour to the Glacier. This is also where most of the whale watching tours are done. Never have done Icy Strait. Skagway we LOVE the White Pass Railway. Ketchikan you need to see Creek Street (free). The Lumberjack show is very entertaining. We have done the Deadliest Catch Tour...that was really good
  24. I sense a whole new round of "complaint threads" here on CC about ports being blocked! 😄
  25. I guess I've lead a very sheltered life when it comes to tendering! I have never tendered in anything that looks remotely like that picture of a tender. Every time we have tendered it has been in a lifeboat...so I guess that explains my confusion. I assumed that's what they *all* looked like. I never fail to learn *something* here on CC!
