  1. Notwithstanding the comment above...they are usually quite good. We've never had any issue "getting what we ordered".
  2. There will *always* be at least one "formal" night on any cruise. Many people really don't dress in what would be called "formal" though... (and let's just let *that* topic go...!)
  3. Be sure and post your question there...don't just read on a Roll Call. You never know; there may be others in the same situation as you and just have not spoken up.
  4. Hah! Yes, sorry...I guess I did leave you hanging there a bit! There were very few kids on that particular cruise and even fewer of that age range. (I don't recall what that itinerary was...but it was on either RCCL or Carnival). That being said...the "club" staff were always very happy to see our young one come in because she was always a very good baby...fun to play with.

  10. Same with us. EZAir just cannot compete when you factor in the Delta loyalty program...but you have to be at one of the higher levels.
  11. You will likely get a range of answers for this...here is my personal experience. We have *usually* been able to get a halfway decent reservation through the app...not always. For those times that we got a crazy time that just did not work for us we would just show up and ask if they could accommodate us. They always did. It is my personal opinion that they hold back a number of tables for just such a situation. So...just show up at a decent time...be polite...and ask. Also discuss with them at the hostess station the ability to set that time for each evening (assuming you want to do so).
  12. There *must* be two different "recipes" floating around in the fleet. What I had very recently was *definitely* not ice milk. My parents were rather frugal and as such NEVER bought real ice cream...always ice milk. I grew up on the stuff! Once married and buying our own groceries...I had "THE REVELATION" as to what I'd been missing! 😃
  13. No issues at all with the room. I always take great care to make sure that there is nothing but cabins above and below anything that I book. Of course, R422 is on the opposite side of the ship...but *should* be exactly the same.
  14. We have only been on the Sky once so far, R423. We liked it pretty well. Will be on the Sky again coming up in May., R230 (We like Riviera)
  15. This is a screen grab from a video of a lifeboat drill on the Island October 2022. They lowered several boats, ran them around for a few minutes and then loaded them back up. I can't see any seats available for passengers on the top...
  16. Wow...that is terrible! So sorry he is going through this. And...very nice to hear that AON is checking in with you like this. I don't think I have ever seen any reports of this from anybody here on CC. Nice to hear that they can do something positive! Tell him we are pulling for him and wish him well. Sorry you've missed a trip that I'm sure you've really been looking forward to.

  18. Even though you're not involving a "cash outlay" when booking with OBC it's always a good idea to take screenshots showing how much OBC actually went to each excursion...just so you have some "proof" in case there's any kind of snag that pops up.
  19. Even though it is on the pricey side, we generally book a Princess hotel package on the front-end...sometimes even on the back end. I like it because if you do the package through Princess you'll get all transfers to/from both hotel and airport. You do NOT have to book EZAir to get this. We NEVER do EZAir.
  20. There's nothing further than "the green lane". Sounds like you are at least covered for this next cruise. Not that it matters...but what type of phone/device were you trying to use?
  21. Perhaps you could share with us exactly what the error message says....?
  22. If this is something that you *know* you want to do, then I personally would try to get it booked ASAP via the Medallion App. Failing that...then once on board go directly to the restaurant and try to arrange.
  23. Just to clarify...your FCCs are expired now? If not and you say you are ready to pay in full...why not book? If they *are* expired it will be much harder than if you were just nearing an expiration date.
  24. With such an involved itinerary you should really consider insurance...
  25. I would think that you should mention this concern to the maitre'd when you speak to him (her?) about the MDR. I know that they take this very seriously, so I think they will at least get you pointed in the right direction.
