I think it frees up crew! Before, they had 4-5 people at each muster station; now they have two for the entire side of the deck. The rest of them get to go about their day with whatever else they need to be doing.

I LOVE the new muster system and hope they keep it. I recently took a HAL cruise and they did they same, so maybe it's here to stay. The only kink are those folks who don't go and therefore prompt all the PA announcements asking them to go. 🙂

As far as I know, the deposit has to be actually paid for it to appear. Try putting in the confirmation number at the 'add a missing cruise' at the bottom.

A lot of cities, including Key West and Venice, have decided that they do not need cruise ships. Not the best way to protest, but I understand the frustration that they feel.

We had a group of young men (16-ish?) get on our elevator on the pool deck. One was smoking (this was some years ago) and walked into the elevator with a lit cigarette. All the adults just looked at him but no one said anything, so as we approached the next floor, I said 'there's an ashtray in the lobby'. He said thank you, stepped out to tip his butt, and got back on. 🙂 His friends were mortified and the next floor, they grabbed him and pulled him off the elevator. 😅

We had a server at a famous chain restaurant tell us that their tilapia was wild caught. 🙂

I print up an extra one for the bag I carry around on the ship, just in case it gets lost.
