  1. Yeah, I have a friend whose teenage son had to explain some of that raunchy stuff to her. 🙂
  2. They do have a little alcove where the doors are, but I still seems odd.
  3. Do they hold more liquid? Those soda tumblers were virtually useless, once they were filled with ice.
  4. Interesting, as our Odyssey balcony cabin door opened in.
  5. I have never seen cabin doors that open out into the hallway. That sounds like it would cause issues.
  6. I think that the airlines are in a world of hurt right now and nothing is working quite as it should. I'm thinking some CEO heads should roll, because someone authorized the scheduling of more planes than they seem to have pilots for.
  7. It does not lock you out of the bidding. I've gotten the email on 4 of my last 5 cruises since start-up. Whether having a TA is why I didn't win one......or my very weak bid, that I cannot say. 🙂
  8. We'll be on that ship with you. Make sure you start looking for return flights to the US, they are pricy and filling up. 🙂
  9. I have no idea, but question: is a Zeppelin tribute band a permanent feature on Oasis?
  10. And loyalty benefits. They have a devoted following.
  11. Thanks, but this is for our return after a cruise. I will keep it in mind for future cruises that might start in Europe.
  12. We are looking at a flight from Rome after our TA next spring, and it's dishearteningly expensive. We looked into Air2Sea and our travel agent got us a price. We looked at the airline that was listed, and we can get the same price if we book on our own. So is there any advantage of booking through Royal?
  13. That's the issue for me. I would check the spam folder, just to be sure there was no notification, but finding out by looking at your app? That's not good customer service. As to the OP's question, the new cabin looks equivalent and is still low enough and central enough to ease any seasickness issues.
  14. We really, really enjoyed the casino when it was non-smoking. We'll dream of next time......
  15. When baby monitors were becoming A Thing, a friend was in her garden with hers, as her newborns were napping. She heard 'mama! mama!' and about had heart failure - it was the neighbor's toddler. 🙂
  16. Like this: We planned on putting our infant twins to sleep in the loft suite, then eating dinner a short distance away at coastal kitchen.
  17. Really, that is the best way. Like I said, I've done it the first night of a group trip and it's so fun as they all open them up. Enjoy!!!
  18. That is my thinking as well. I booked a GTY on Voyager on Sept. 4 and they assigned us a Deck 2 cabin, months ago, when Ocean View sold out. We just got the email that due to covid protocols and to keep people safe, yadda yadda, upgrade. I guess they are doing them all in order, and just got to the September sailings.
  19. You can.....but if they are enforcing check in times you might be waiting for a while. Which port?
  20. In my perfect world, they would be delivered on the first day/night of the cruise. I've given out goodie bags. It's way more fun when everyone is together, and it doesn't inconvenience anyone.
  21. Thank you. It's out of their way, on the busiest day. Just hand them out as a group, and everyone can enjoy the fun of it at once.
