  1. I'd rent a scooter, but it you want a rollator, check out local thrift shops. They often have them.
  2. But they won't have seen you with them - she said some of the friends were in different hallways with different room stewards, and she wants them delivered the first night. That's the busiest day for room stewards, and they probably will not have seen them together.
  3. If you wish. The serious people have tags on them with a cute poem and/or a facebook page or email to report that you found the duck; you then either leave it, keep it, or place it somewhere else on the ship. I've only ever found two and I've left them both where I found them.
  4. We were there last month, on our cruise/land tour. It was 75 most days, and clear skies - good for our views of Denali, but the locals were very concerned about the fire danger. 😞
  5. Here is the story about the Clear Fire: https://www.alaskasnewssource.com/2022/06/27/evacuations-advised-near-anderson-clear-fire-grows-more-than-9500-acres/ Here is a link to Alaska fire information: http://smoke.alaska.edu/current_fires.html
  6. That, and the Park Cafe has (had?) specialist coffee so that was a lovely walk in the morning, through an empty Central Park.
  7. Yeah, he was quite proud of himself. 😞
  8. Not at all, but it as an extra step we didn't have to take before. I anticipate a lot of discussions about how to get them and 'I didn't have mine'.
  9. So I looked it up. 🙂 https://www.royalcaribbean.com/crown-anchor-society/presidents-cruise
  10. I have never heard of this. Is this a chartered cruise just for high-end C&A members?
  11. In that case, I'd say his chances of a religious exemption just went down.
  12. No idea, but they have an email signup for future alerts. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/utopia-of-the-seas?ecid=ps_43700070528471997&country=USA&gclid=CjwKCAjw5NqVBhAjEiwAeCa97Xcyk2bZFfjZISthI5QgeIiLtoWWMan0140PppwMxdUNPpFaIgRXgRoCseIQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&nclid=Mz4wxB5mi2sy0KvpnybQIx4OfUQReet5qTolrDDaUSdzKfmcWyJ1B1DWyx1YDEpw
  13. This is the description of the tour. Today you'll delight in a drive that takes you along the Skeppsbron quay district in the Old Town, pass the Royal Palace and continue to Strandvagen waterfront esplanade. 1700s. Ride onto the island of Djurgarden for the chance to step inside the Vasa Museum. A 30-minute guided tour, followed by 45 minutes of free time, lends plenty of opportunities to discover in-depth. Relive the story of the Vasa, a 17th-century Royal ship that sank in Stockholm in 1628. Learn about life onboard, its 700 decorative sculptures, how the ship was salvaged in 1961, and see a replica of the old Stockholm Shipyard. You'll even find the world's most fully intact salvaged ship from the 1600s inside the museum.
  14. We have been on Odyssey. It was so unfamiliar that we didn't really like it the first few days, but we got to really appreciate the spaces and are looking forward to sailing again. The massive Solarium was wonderful. But that Central Park thing - I miss it.
  15. The one I am on is the best, obviously. But my favorite thus far has been Oasis. I love Central Park and always choose Deck 8 so we can walk through there instead of a hallway.
  16. Nope, just go. If you want to tell your room steward so s/he knows the room will be empty, that would be nice.
  17. Go back to the previous page and scroll down past Roll Calls and Special Interest Cruising to Ports of Call
  18. The application process will be via a "largely automated IT system," with approval granted "within minutes," for an estimated 95% of applicants, according to a new memo issued by the EU. 19. Are you people talking about the same cable car on the same island?
  20. That's the part I have never had to worry about. No one has ever mentioned the wine I carry on board (or the 12 pack of coke, or the full bottle of whiskey I was carrying as a gift [I had it tagged and wrapped for confiscation until the cruise was over] for a friend I was meeting after the transatlantic cruise ended ).
  21. Oh, I was thinking you were getting offers for your booked cabin, like car dealerships send owners of popular cars that letter making an offer for a trade-in. 😅
