  1. I thought you were referring to Warren, not Jimmy. LOL. And I knew you were staying at M'ville so that makes me extra special, bless my heart. 😆
  2. I voted for a post-cruise, semi-live but only because of the aforementioned Oasis mega-review that is currently happening will consume me. But you write some of the best reviews and it's not often I see a cruise review from an older, smaller ship so it's be interesting. No matter which you choose, I probably won't read it until after next week. LOL. Honestly, whatever works best for you and your family.
  3. Garlic Parmesan Cheese Skewers sounds like it'd be worth a try. I understand it's a customer favorite....according to the menu behind the wine glass. 🙂
  4. I remember the days I used to be able to eat like that & still have room for dessert & then go for a swim / hike / whatever. And once in awhile, I still do when I want to treat myself. I just have to allow time for the 12 hour food coma that follows. 🤣
  5. As difficult as it will be, keep your spirits up as well as your daughter. A positive attitude is important. Even when there may be a disappointing setback, as long as testing & treatment continues, then a positive outcome is always possible.
  6. One of the best benefits to the drink package is trying new drinks. And if you don't like it, no shame in handing it back or to someone else. Often times, I'd have a list too but if I find 1 or 2 drinks I really, really like early on the list, I never make it to the end of the list. 🙂 Cheers! 🍻🥂
  7. That works out to be 4 1/2 cocktails each. Very doable during a long dinner, as Wonderland tends to be if memory serves me correctly (it's been a while). Two while waiting for dinner, one during dinner & an after dinner drink. Size and strength of each cocktail matters as well. With a lot of ice and/or "fru-fru" ingredients, there might be barely any alcohol in some of those drinks.
  8. I was thinking the same thing. He forgot the word "each". As in: Making a list of some of each of the cocktails I want to drink on the Bella Cruise.😁 I subscribe to the theory that when trying something new for the first time, you need to taste it 3 times before deciding whether you like it or not. 2 out of 3 wins! 😅
  9. Uh-oh! All good stuff I hope. 😉 I'm not on board but I hope you enjoy the cruise and meeting the Mrs. many online friends.
  10. I saw you posted the link on the Bella thread, hence I thought I mentioned it here. I'm sure someone would have linked it eventually. But honestly, I expect the Live Bella thread to be on the top of page 1 for the next few weeks so it won't be hard to find. 🙂
  11. I can only imagine what it'll be like when the cruise actually begins. I guess the only "good" thing is that this thread and Bella thread might be slow next week, otherwise it'll be tough to keep up.
  12. *whew*, and here i was thinking you might have been buried under snow piles that are as tall as a house. 😉
  13. "I'm bored. So, so bored. Might as well take a nap" ~ Leonard. I hope he realizes lazy days are the best days.
  14. Do you remember what year car? Based on the shape, it could be the sister-car to my very first car I ever owned, a hand me down from my father. A 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 station wagon. Car had 175,000 miles on it when he gave it to me in 1980 & I put another 21,000 on it before I could save up enough money to buy my own car. Looking back, I wished I kept it until it had an even 200K miles just for bragging rights. I found this picture on the internet, looks exactly like the car I had, color and everything. Except mine did not have a roof rack, must've been an option back in the day and my dad didn't bother with options. So, no A/C, AM-only radio with one speaker in the middle of the dash, black vinyl bench seats (so much fun on a hot sunny day), etc. The only options it did have was the bigger V8 engine - a 390 ci - and Posi-Traction (another Marisa Tomei reference) which I think Ford called Traction-Lok. The car had a surprising amount of power for station wagon, could outrun a few Mustangs and Camaro's. One of my favorite quirks of the car was the carburetor valve would get stuck closed in the winter time so it wouldn't start. Had to open the hood, screw open the air filter cover, unstick the valve & hold it open with a screw driver. Then after starting the car, remove screw driver, screw cover back on and close hood. Lot of fun on a windy, 20 degree winter day.
  15. Doesn't a car need to be 20 years old before being considered a classic? So you only have to wait 3 more years
  16. Thank you for the offer but that's probably too much car for me. 😀 My "midlife-crisis-mobile" is a Saab convertible, which I still have but somehow my step daughter took it over when she moved back home last year. 😊
  17. Which is a shame because I'd rather have a car. Right now my everyday driver is a SUV and it's pleasant enough. Drives just like a car. But I prefer to be lower to the ground and a have sportier ride. Not that I'm in the market for a new car but if I was, it'd be an Audi A5. And maybe a V8 Mustang before gas-powered cars become obsolete.
  18. I've always tended to favor 2 door coupes with tiny back seats. One side benefit is I'm never asked to be the driver when a group of us go out. 😁
