  1. When you first speak to the spa desk about your thermal suite pass they will confirm it in the computer then put a sticker on your room card, like the photo below, to Identify you have a spa pass. This way each time you want to go to the spa you go to the spa desk, give them your room key, and from the sticker they know right away you have a pass. You'll receive a different key card to access the thermal suite. When you're done you hand back the access card and get your key card back. You can do this as many times a day as are the opening hours.
  2. Whenever you get a thermal suite pass whether it's for one day or whole cruise you're allowed multiple entries daily into the thermal suite for whatever the opening hours are. The website limitations are for spa treatments, ie massages and facials whereby you need to make an appointment. So don't worry about it. Just go to the spa desk on embarkation day and let them know you have a spa pass. You'll always need to hand in your keycard every time you want to use the spa.

  4. After having lots of them last year at multiple ports of call in Portugal I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the Cantonese version better since the custard is way less sweet. Photos for comparison Lisbon (Manteigaria) vs Taipei,Taiwan Dim Sum restaurant (along with radish cakes). Since I'm Chinese American I may be A BIT biased, lol.
  5. ETrade, which was independent but now owned by Morgan Stanley, is an excellent brokerage platform and it's website and app are easy to use. Absolutely NO DRAWBACKs and they even have a good premium savings account that's currently paying 4.25%
  6. Scarlet Night Pool Party is the best deck party of any cruiseline.
  7. I have sailed in Aquaclass on the Apex and Beyond and it was never a problem ordering an entree from the MDR menu in Blu.
  8. Correct. I don't EVER remember seeing macarons at any Cafe Al Bacio.
  9. I normally don't stress about this stuff but I know how crazy LA area can be. We did this itinerary in February but on the Solstice and Celebrity does the itinerary in reverse which I think is much better and we returned back to LB much earlier. I just went ahead and changed our flights to the next morning from LB airport and will stay in LB. The fares on Southwest are actually on sale now so we actually saved $30/pp.
  10. Yes, Cabo is last port stop then 1 seaday before disembarkation. My head seems to point to changing flights even though my heart likes the time the flight gets to our next destination. Thanks for your opinion!
  11. Given what you posted I wanted to ask for your advice. Our Panorama sailing isn't until April 20 but we currently have a flight booked on Southwest out of LAX on the day of disembarkation to Honolulu at 12:10pm. It looks like official disembarkation time is always listed at 9:00am for the Panorama. Given your experience with this ship and itinerary, will we have a problem making this flight? We plan to carryon our luggage so no checking luggage at the airport. Our alternatives is an evening flight at 6PM or later, or staying overnight in LA and catching a early morning flight the next day. We're boarding another cruise 3 days later, so staying overnight in LA wouldn't be a problem, but TBH I rather have more time in Honolulu than in LA. But flying the next day is an acceptable alternative. You have any personal thoughts on this? thank you for any insight you can give.
  12. They mean any additional all included benefits ie WiFi, drink packages
  13. You should play what you want to play. If you want to maximize comps, then you have to include slots in the mix. But if $2 in the slots doesn't bring you the same enjoyment as $2 on the tables then don't worry about the comps and just play for your enjoyment.
  14. I guess it depends on what you mean by BCC sailings. On our Feb. Solstice and July Apex sailings we went to Future Cruise onboard both ships and inquired if there were any comped cruise offers from the casino dept that they can book for us onboard. On both ships they did indeed have an OFFER for us for a free 7 day veranda that could be booked out to 11 months. This offer was only available onboard through Future Cruise and won't be available once we disembarked. The offer was severely capacity controlled so we didn't take advantage of it (and bookings also included an administration fee which booking directly with BCC doesn't have) so you're correct that they don't necessarily book BCC offer codes but they have or at least HAD a different arrangement with BCC for complementary sailings for gamblers.
  15. I know we ran into this qualification with URComped with Royal last year, but at least with us, starting in 2019 when we first used URComped for a Celebrity cruise it's never been an issue between BCC and URComped. Our first booking with URComped was for an Edge sailing in 4/2019 yet we had already sailed on the Edge on the Inaugural sailing in 12/2018 on a fully comped BCC offer. In 2021 we had both URComped and BCC comped sailings. In 2022 we had only URComped Celebrity sailings. And this year as I said it was both BCC and URComped booked sailings. Whether this changes next year I can't be sure because so far the two Celebrity comped bookings we have booked for next year have been with BCC. Strangely last year Celebrity BCC had occasionally been using URComped to do the casino bookings for BCC offerings. The way we found out about this unusual arrangement was when BCC was trying to fill the Solstice Mexican Riviera itineraries due to the last minute cancelation of the Solstice sailing Japan in late 2022 into 2023. I personally received a free cruise offer(My husband is the gambler so he's the one in the family that gets ALL THE OFFERS, NEVER me) on the Solstice summer 2022 from BCC and in taking advantage of the offer to my surprise the booking and correspondence came from Urcomped. So BCC's arrangement with URComped was different than with Royal.
  16. For example in this mailing we chose the Jan 7th sailing in AQ on the Ascent and when we called it had All Included, and this one includes the gratuities since we booked it in August so we lucked out. But you can't tell from the mailer that it incudes all included.
  17. You really can't at first glance unless it actually says it in the email/postcard offer. Otherwise you need to call and ask.
  18. Resort Deck=Lido/Main Pool Deck Rooftop Garden<>=Royal's Central Park
  19. Same. We would finish our entrees in the MDR and then head to Bacio for coffee and dessert, people watch, relax, until time to go to whatever the late show is in the theater.
  20. You're not getting the good offers. We're doing B2B on the Ascent in January, 1st room Aquaclass with all included, 2nd in Concierge Class.
  21. The Apex had them this past July;both all chocolate and the standard coconut/almond(Isn't there also ones with chocolate chips?) The photo isn't too sharp but you'll get the idea.
  22. I can't think of any Celebrity package that has wine with dinner.
  23. It's a great cabin. The panoramic window allows great views and light. We stayed in our 5tb IV cabin this past July on the Apex for an Iceland cruise and it was great seeing the beautiful fjords from the panoramic window right in our cabin without having to put on a coat. We occasionally lowered the window to feel the cold air and be able to peek our heads out the window to see beyond the view from the chair. After 15 minutes we would put the window back up because it was getting too cold. The IV cabins are perfect for those that want to OCCASIONALLY feel the outside air and enjoy the views. They aren't a substitute for a traditional veranda since you're not really outside as compared to a sunset veranda. Whatsmore the two chairs provided aren't comfortable enough to spend hours in them since their low backs don't provide any support like a high back semi reclining chair. As long as you know what an IV cabin is and what it isn't (a true outdoor space) it's a great cabin choice.
  24. Awful lot of work. First you have to lug the curtains in your luggage. Secondly you have to put them up and take them down every day. Third it looks tacky and like something college students would do. I'm not spending thousands of $ on a nice cabin only to jury rigg curtains. Just leave the cabin and go elsewhere on the ship. Early morning you have the whole run of the ship to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere.
  25. No and I can't see them instituting reservations ever.
