  1. He CAN wear jeans on elegant night, it's not an issue and no one, literally no one will say anything. I've worn jeans on Elegant night. It's a NON ISSUE.
  2. It's unique to Celebrity's E-class ships that all cabins have king-size beds. It's quite apparent when you're on the bed since it's very big in relation to the room.
  3. Sorry i can't remember. There was definitely a gin and vodka but I forgot the other choices.
  4. Don't forget about your in-room bar setup and some of the possibilities with it. It all depends on how much you drink;my spouse doesn't drink alcohol, and he's the gambler, so that presents scenarios regarding the inroom mini bar. Elite cruises include drinks for two everywhere on the ship, so that also includes ordering wine in the dining rooms(that's by the glass, and not whole bottles). You are also given an initial in-room bar setup which includes a wine or spirits choice from a list and accompling mixers, which includes soda. Each person gets to choose their own minibar setup. The alcohol are full size bottles and delivered unopened, which gives you the option of taking them off the ship at the end of the cruise if you decide not to open them. And if you are gambling on the cruise you'll probably receive other bottles of sparkling wine and/or wine. If you can drink all that, more power to you! Otherwise, you can decide if you want to take it off the ship, and if you do that, plan accordly. We use inflatable bubble wrap bottle sleeves and brought home four bottles of wine from London, unbroken, this past June. We also gave away a couple of bottles of sparkling wine and white wine. https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Sleeves-Transport-Leakproof-Cushioning/dp/B0758B8RF3
  5. Are you sure about that on E-class ships? The combined beds on E-Class are considered KING beds, so splitting them up will yield single beds LARGER than your traditional cruise ship single beds. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/veranda-stateroom
  6. Agree 100%. I don't remember if this is your first time in Aquclass on E-Class but one enhancement on the Beyond for the Blu dining room is the relocation of two lifeboats from the main windows in Blu, which allows for direct sea views from most of the windows. That isn't the case on either the Edge or Apex and is a source of much displeasure for many Blu devotees on E-Class ships.
  7. Is THIS good enough for you? From the 10/26 sailing of the Beyond, so on a RECENT sailing of the FLAGSHIP.🙄
  8. I agree with you but as I said, even on Caribbean itineraries when our cabin is too cold and we adjust the thermostat to left of neutral which is for warmer, and the results isn't just shutting off cold air from being blown in but warmer air gets blown in to warm up the room. Whether that warmer air constitutes heat is not my concern, all I care is that the room is too cold and I want it warmer. Adjusting the room thermostat does indeed make the room warmer. I would guesstimate our comfort level is around 72 - 74 degrees.
  9. As I said, that's been the policy for decades.
  10. Yes, they are meant to be used while on the cruise. It's part of the partnership with Goop. TBH I don't find cabins have enough room to be doing yoga and strength training when there's a whole gym decks away. Some early morning meditation is one thing, but why use weights in your room?
  11. We like our cabins on the warm side, so regularly set the thermostats PAST neutral and into the red zone, even in the Caribbean. I can attest that the subsequent air does blow warm. It was that way on the Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Pride.
  12. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/updated-captains-club-brochure-v6.pdf As you can see it does not state you can get it at restaurants and/or dining rooms. It's been like that for DECADES.
  13. Another hint:It's not necessary for you to preorder a cab in Barcelona to go to the pier, cabs are plentiful in Barcelona. You can always have the front desk of your hotel call a cab for you. If you have lots of luggage, just let the front desk know you need a larger cab. Barcelona has tons of minivan cabs and also cabs with hatchbacks so it's never an issue. If you do ask the hotel to call you a cab don't worry if you see a couple of Euros already on the meter;the meter generally starts when the cab receives the call and it's not a scam.
  14. The transfers provided on an Elite cruise are always a private vehicle exclusively just for you. Whatsmore there's no stipulations on which segment you use each transfer for, in other words it doesn't have to be to/from the ship pier. Therefore it's in you best interests to use them for your most expensive transfers. In your case it would be BCN to your Barcelona hotel, then Port Canaveral to MCO. The taxi fare from your Barcelona hotel to the ship pier will be less money than the airport transfer. You'll get the initial email around 3-4 weeks before embarkation, then when you indicate you're taking the transfer a few days after you respond to the initial email you'll receive another email directly from the transfer company. They are an excellent company, and we had no issues with them in Barcelona. Helpful hint: make sure whoever is the Elite member has their name registered as a guest in the hotel. The driver will confirm with the front desk of your hotel that they have arrived and are waiting for you. If there's no one registered at the hotel under the name, it will cause confusion and possibly a cancelled transfer. Also remember gratuities are already included, but you're always welcome to tip extra for excellent service. Tbh I don't necessarily think it is necessary to do that in Barcelona, but if there is a special circumstance that you feel warrants extra gratuities, go right ahead.
  15. Just to be clear if that happened then it was the fault of the server not charging you for the drink and it definitely isn't the policy.
  16. I guess some ships do it differently. The MardiGras and Pride didn't do it that way.
  17. I was on the 10/26 Beyond sailing and the bottled water did have tops that were closable multiple times.
  18. Since the restart they no longer take a group photo. Instead you are allowed to take a photo of yourself at a specific location with a background indicating you were on a B2B. You also have a 1 drink credit on you sign and sail card per person.
  19. No. The cruises are totally separate and NOTHING account-wise or payment-wise is combined.
  20. The cruise planner for spa purchases are setup for spa treatments, which accounts for why you need to choose a date and time. When you purchase a whole cruise spa pass it's unlimited visits from opening to closing.
  21. NOT TRUE. It comes in an aluminum BOTTLE with a screw cap. Some people have problems with opening them. Not sure why you think it comes in a can.
  22. IT looks like it was introduced in the beginning of 2020 right before the pandemic shutdown. My feeling is this was not resurrected after the restart and especially in light of the new drink package changes. This would also be the reason why there's virtually no discussion about this anywhere since the restart.
  23. I have a feeling this will not be currently offered on any ship.
  24. What I don't understand is why this particular offer isn't discussed AT ALL here on CC. No one seems to mention it despite all the threads on drink packages. Why is that?
  25. Celebrity is notorious for not updating ANY of their slot machines in their casinos, even after renovations, unlike Carnival who will completely renovate their casinos with new slot machines, table games, chairs, etc even on their oldest ships and even before touching any other part of the ship. They know the money invested in the casino is well returned.
