  1. Does this look like what was on the Valiant?
  2. I'm wondering if this is the same show that was running for a few years in Las Vegas at Bally's Casino, if so it was so much fun. We sat in the front and did alot of participating. In any event I don't see the show listed on any night of the Jan.14th sailing of the Valiant.
  3. Thank you for this thread and I hope you have a great time! I'm sure people are very interested as to what the Flagship is doing with regard to the Oceanview Cafe during dinnertime, so If you can report back as to what you're seeing is available and open in the buffet for dinner I'm sure it's going to be much appreciated!
  4. I was the first to report this on the 10/26 Beyond sailing. Although we were in Aquaclass I had booked Early Dining for my parents. Normally there's a card in the room indicating which of the four dining rooms you have been assigned to for Early set seating. NOTHING was in my parent's cabin. The most galling aspect was the staff's responses were as if Celebrity NEVER had fixed early & late seating on E-Class ships. All they kept repeating is you can eat whenever and where ever you want, no reservations are needed. There was NEVER an acknowledgement that yes, although you had booked Early fixed seating prior to you boarding the ship we eliminated that type of seating choice and now the ship is all anytime dining.
  5. In general upgrades from a BCC comped cabin don't include Always Included but there are exceptions to that based on sailing capacity and what was allotted to BCC. So it's best to call BCC and confirm whether you have Always Included. You will be able to take advantage of all other Sky Suite amenities which includes the Retreat and Luminae. When you meet your room butler confirm how they want to work the in-room mini bar in terms of what beverages are included and what is charged; it seems butlers have some discretion on how they manage the in-room mini bar. In terms of the the Retreat/Michael's Club (you didn't say what ship you're on) all drinks in the Club will be complimentary and you are welcome to take away the beverages in the refrigerated cases. If your ship has a Retreat Sundeck the policy is a bit trickier. Non Alcoholic beverages ordered from the wait staff at the Retreat sundeck will be complementary BUT the alcoholic drinks will be CHARGED. If you are Elite and above the standard Elite HH drinks still apply, BUT in all cases you CANNOT get an alcoholic beverage in Luminae or any other dining room without charges.
  6. Yes, the company that works directly with Celebrity and Royal is URCOMPED.COM. In fact several months ago when Blue Chip Club had that big comped cruise offer to non gamblers Urcomped help with fulfillment of all the requests.
  7. The way Celebrity is managing anytime dining on E-class ships is 40% of all available tables at any given time is available for pre-boarding reservations via the cruise planner. So for example if there are a total of 1,000 tables available at 6pm 400 will be available to reserve pre-cruise via the cruise planner. Once those 400 tables are all booked up then there's no more ADVANCED reservations BUT there are still 600 tables available for walk-up reservations. In other words just because you can prebook a table at the time you want doesn't necessarily mean you won't be able to walk up around that time and be seated right away. Of course it doesn't mean that you will be either, but the point is just because you can't make an advanced reservations doesn't mean you won't be able to be seated at that time or there about.
  8. As I have told you there are no longer any set dining times. You only have a reservation if you yourself make it. Otherwise you walk-up at the time you want to eat and see if there's a table available right away or you have a short wait.
  9. Yes, Celebrity is one of the few cruiselines that have provided free drinks while playing in the casino. You have to be ACTIVELY playing meaning your key card is in a slot machine or you're at a table game and you order from a waiter. It's a limited drink menu, meaning your basic well drinks and nothing fancy or top shelf liquor.
  10. No, none of the E-class ships have a library.
  11. Sky Suites don't come with a complementary bag of laundry.
  12. No more fixed seating dining on ANY edge class ship. It's all anytime dining, just walk up or see if you can get reservations in the cruise planner. 40% of the tables at any given hour are available for prebooking in the cruise planner. The remaining 60% is walk up. This was confirmed by the Restaurant Matre D', Restaurant hosts, and Guest Services on the Beyond on the 10/26/22 sailing. It is a PERMANENT change. Do let ANYONE tell you otherwise.
  13. Correct, there's no longer set early or late seating, despite what you may have reserved when you booked your cruise.
  14. I would be very, very, very surprised if this still exists (have NEVER seen it mentioned since the restart) considering they're raising prices and cutting back on literally everything.
  15. Based on current events multiple ships have severely cut back the dinner time offerings at Oceanview Cafe, so no, currently it's still open for dinner but at a severely reduced offerings. Whether that is the final word on this remains to be seen.
  16. !00% agree. Plus the age demographic of the guests is a more realistic portrayal of the actual guests onboard. Probably one of the best cruiseline ads I have ever seen.
  17. JiJi's on the Sunshine is quite unique and may be the only one with a cafeteria style Mongolian wok lunch in the fleet. Since they took out the Aft pool the whole Aft space is indoor restaurants and seating. Mongolian wok was indeed cafeteria style. On Vista class ships it was never built that way from the get-go, hence it's always been order from a checkoff sheet.
  18. I hope you realize it's NOT going to be the same Cucina despite being able to book it?
  19. As others have said the cabin you booked is an Oceanview cabin with a window that opens and furniture that will simulate a balcony but in reality it's just an open window. You don't actually step outside from your cabin to an outdoor balcony but you're just at an open window with the option to close some frosted glass doors to make a pretend balcony. It can be a really nice cabin since the window is floor to ceiling glass, so you get to lots of light and views, and when you open the window you'll get fresh air. But if you like spending time really being outside sitting on a balcony the infinite veranda isn't he going to work for you in that way.
  20. Very true. What's good about the multi device wifi plans is if you don't have wifi included in your cruise fare it will be cheaper to get 1 plan for two devices and share that with you cabin mate than getting two separate one device plans. And if you have multiple people traveling and you do the same thing your savings is even greater.
