There is an event going at the Bayside Marketplace which is causing gridlock at the entrance to the bridge to the Miami port. Once past Bayside on the mainland there's zero traffic at the port
They're not exactly sofabeds. Instead, they're two single mattresses that can be setup as a queen bed,or as a L Shaped sofa, or two single beds in the same L Shaped configuration.
I stand by my comments that while the rooms have a modern appearance they appear like a college dorm room. Some people seem not to mind the sheer curtains instead of closet doors. I'd like to ask the same people if you would want those same curtains replacing your closet doors in your own bedroom? On the other hand for me, the aesthetics of Celebrity's E-Class cabins is such that I wouldn't hesitate duplicating it in my own home, right down to the lighted corral display niche.
Going on my second Virgin cruise this Saturday. It's a great line, my only beef with it are the cabins below the suites. They pale in comparison to the Edge Class cabins. Not enough storage and although modern looking they resemble a college dorm room decorated with stuff from Target.
Inside the thermal suite are individual heated tile loungers, two types of steam rooms, an infrared sauna, a salt inhalation room, a crystal meditation room, and communal shower hall. There's also access to an outdoor forward facing deck, but there's no seating out there. That's about it.
Bottom line yes, they are. Since this affects only E-Class ships their systems presently can't differentiate and eliminate the choice of fixed seating for only those class of ships.
Thermal suites ARE NOT Complimentary on older ships. What is available is a sauna in the respective spa/gym locker rooms that's open to all guests whether you have a thermal suite pass or not. Don't confuse the two things.
If you're in Aquaclass you have unlimited access to the Thermal suite for as many times a day when it's opened. All you need to do is hand in your Key card at the spa desk to exchange for a thermal suite access card(also credit card size and not on any ring or bracelet). The locker rooms have lockers where you can put your clothes and other stuff. There's individual showers, toilet, vanities ( no sauna in the locker rooms, only in the coed thermal suite)
Agreed and that's pretty annoying. I guess it's because they're too busy making expensive drinks, although with Drink packages most people aren't paying per drink.
On E-Class ships it would be the counters on the left right past Segundo Bacio where they put out breads and then sometimes desserts, which could wrap around the counter. It could also be the island direct across from there. Those are always the areas where desserts are placed.
