  1. Can you post the name of the YC Director you mentioned. Any waiters in YC worth asking for by name? How was your butler?
  2. Wubbajk We just got off the 5/28 Joy sailing. On an aside, do you have the daily from day 2. Who's on board? Or do you know who was on board?
  3. "Yeah but then can't expect their P+ customers to have to go a specific restaurant to get a glass of brut Champagne. If you advertize it as 'all champagne by the glass' then I expect to have champagne available in all restaurants and most bars. And no a rosé is not acceptable as 'standard' champagne, there should be a brut availabe and the rosé should be the extra, not vice versa." Le Bistro opens at 530 each evening. So if you go by what is being reported, you would have to wait until then for P+ glass? Would you have to go in and sit down order and leave? Rose is not mainstream for most people's tastes. I know it isnt for us. There are brut champagnes NCL could stock that would be acceptable. Hopefully corporate is getting the ship feedback and listening. Step Up.
  4. Looking for more 1st hand stories. Have they offered a brut champagne or still just the rose. Of course if able to get Veuve by the glass that would be terrific.
  5. Still following along. Best of health to you Sid!
  6. Love both Veuve and Perrier Jouet. Moet is good. Many many more that are acceptable. Many that are not. The only P+ by the glass being a Rose is horrible. Step up NCL. Put something acceptable back on the P+ by the glass. Buying a bottle is not an option for us. Bringing your own on board defeats our purpose of being on vacation. Vacation time for us is meant to be relax and enjoy. Not being told no. Not lugging your own beverage of choice. The concept of adding another champagne on is easy. Doesn't even have to be fleet wide. Could be port wide. Buy what is available and offer it.
  7. Can you post your opinion/experience for the YC? food, butler, drinks, etc. Thanks
  8. The reason we sign up for the P+ is for the Veuve. We also enjoy starbucks and water. Without a comparable replacement for Veuve dollar wise for us it is not worth it. I don't want a refund. I don't want to complain on board. I want Veuve. It shouldn't be ship to ship or anything like that where it varies. If NCL is taking away the Veuve then replace it with something close.
  9. This is a ship to ship sailing to sailing situation it seems. With the premium beverage package they may serve you the Duc champagne if they still have it. Most likely Prosecco will be served. With the P+, it used to be Veuve by the glass, then they substituted the Pommerey Rose, which according to recent posts is now not available. Some have said they could Veuve at Le Bistro. And of course you can purchase Veuve for $120 a bottle. Not.
  10. "I am posting here solely to report that it has been reported to me by three different NCL personnel today, that the replacement of Pommery was not available on the last cruise and is not expected to be available on this cruise. What they are pouring is the Prosecco that is included in the basic ultimate beverage package. " So now the replacement for Veuve is not available. Prosecco is not champagne and I do not like. There are champagnes available they could offer. I have listed them in a previous post. NCL needs to step up.
  11. Thanks for the review Sid. Glad you made it home safely. I hate to fly but love to cruise. Ends up being worth it.
  12. "I think that’s the key point. Liquors/wines/beers often change by ship, as it’s dependent on what is available at the port distributors when they are resupplying. " I doubt that if veuve is available at a port but the price is too high that NCL will stock it. Seems they are using the Veuve inventory exclusively at Le Bistro. Read recently that it wasn't available in The Haven until day 5. Not right. If you are in the Haven and you paid for P+ and you want a glass of Veuve and can't get. Then NCL needs to offer something comparable, not a Rose, and stop the unhappiness of so many disappointed passengers.
  13. If you give NCL the benefit of the doubt in terms of attaining Veuve. Then they should go ahead and put Moet or Perrier Jouet or Montaudon or Cattier or even Nicolas Feuilatte on the P+ by the glass. To offer only a rose for the price of the P+ package is NCL being cheap.
  14. At Le Bistro are you able to use P+ or are you charged the $29 per glass fee
  15. Good Morning Sid. Looking forward to today. Enjoy.
  16. I prefer Veuve to Moet. If Veuve was unavailable and Moet was available I would be ok.
  17. Looking for recent experience on board. Ordering Veuve by the glass with P+. Was it available? Ship and Bar? It is off the P+ list now that NCL posts, if ordering by the glass with beverage package, how much or with P+ how much. Anyone have no problem?
  18. Flip flops. Veuve Clicquot. Balcony. Time with hubby. Casino.
  19. Enjoyed the pics. Your overall impression would be great. Thanks.
  20. Thanks. Very much interested in more posts. Every ship I am sure is in a different situation, inventory, etc. Holding on hope for Joy in July but not optimistic.
  21. Jamie, Any feedback from your brother about the YC? Food, drinks, butler, stateroom?
  22. Curious with the P+ Flyer changing May 1st and we are mid way through May any recent experiences with the P+ package ordering Veuve by the glass, ship and bar specific?
