I have Bids on all of the Haven Suites for my Cruise in September, unfortunatly looks like there are only about 7 two bedrooms left and the Owners Suite. I have bids in the fair range for all Haven Suites hoping to snatch one up. But if not i am perfectly fine with a balcony i already have. I have won my last 2 Haven bids and hoping tp make it 3 in a row.

So, My wife and I will be having a beach day when in port. My Wife enjoys sunbathing topless but not really looking to see completely naked men and women. Can someone give me some ideas which beaches would be a good for a beach day with topless sunbathing and also some food and beverage options? Thank in advance.

wolft927 replied to hernando52's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
As for me I am on the Getaway September 29th and Thrilled that i do not have to worry about pre boarding testing! It was not much of a hassle, just didnt get fully excited untill after i tested negative lol.... -
I have won my last 2 haven bids, but have no issue with simply having a balcony. But I will say all the perks you receive from haven my wife and I love it!!!!!! If we can get one at a heavy discount we would travel every time

Norwegian Breakaway 9am Boarding...What do I need to know?
wolft927 replied to hrt4girls's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Typically 9am is your arrival time not boarding time. probobly by 9:30 check in process starts, going through security then getting all your cruise cards. then go to waiting area untill your group is called. Usually by 11:15 to 11:30 they start boarding with Haven guests first. -
Was curious if the Getaway still has Mini Golf on the Sports Deck area, I know breakaway had it removed. thanks in advance.

American Diner Is Wasted Space
wolft927 replied to Colorado Buffalo's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I agree, I have never seen anyone in there on any of my cruises. The location does stink on the Breakaway class ships as it is next to the arcade. But i do like the idea of a grab and go mexican venue, with a mass amount of Margaritas! -
So I have a Question. I have won my last 2 bids for Haven Suites, but there where always cabins available in the Haven when I have won. So we are 57 days out and appears there are 13 2 bedrooms available at this time, and 1 forward facing. Has anyone ever won a Bid for a Haven cabin that said sold out? I am assuming existing Haven Suite guests would bid from a Courtyard to a higher stateroom category. All my bids are on the high end of Fair, and hoping there is someone with some experience with winning cabins that where said to be sold out. Thanks again for all your help.

Favorite Ship and/or Itinerary with Kids
wolft927 replied to CozGurl's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
So a few questions, is there a departure port that everyone can drive to? Is there anyone with special needs? Are the kids the kind that will utilize the kids club things ? -
I have sailed in the Haven Several times, and I have never been refused a reservation, with that being said, take into account if you are sailing on any ship that holds a lot of kids, reservations can be harder to get. I don’t understand why some people don’t utilize the these services pre cruise to make your reservations.

When does bidding open for a cruise?
wolft927 replied to TopofWorld's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I also love bidding, I have been lucky to win my last 2 haven bids, granted I bid strong, but usually save at least 2k. -
MSC Just Removed Testing To Match RCCL and CCL. Is NCL Next?
wolft927 replied to GA Dave's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I too would love to see pre-cruise testing eliminated for all sailings. I don't understand the difference or benefit to eliminating for short cruises and not longer ones? Only thing i can think of is you test negative 3 days prior and show symptoms 2 or 3 days into cruise so only have 2 days or maybe 3 of quarantine oppose to testing showing symptoms on day 2 or 3 of a 9 night and being locked up for 5 nights i guess. Anyways , I would like to start getting excited for my vacation a little further out then 3 days, always paranoid of a false positive lol -
We have a room for our September 29th cruise at town and country inn which includes 9 nights of parking for $240.

All your bids will say pending, until either one says processing or all day something else can’t remember what it’s says though exactly.

So I have stayed on The Breakaway in the 2 bedroom Haven on 16 and also the Forward Facing on deck 9. I will say it is very nice being inside the Haven on 16, but it absolutely not a deal breaker. I would actually prefer a Forward Facing then the Haven Courtyard as you have separate living and bedroom. The Bedroom in the forward facing is much bigger then the 2 bedroom suite as well. The Bathroom in the forward facing also is much bigger and nicer as well. My wife and I had no issue walking a bit and taking the elevator to 16 to go to the Haven. I am cruising on the Getaway on September 29th for 9 nights and hoping to win our 3rd bid in a row either the 2 bedroom or the forward facing but have bids on all. Crossing our fingers.

NCL Getaway July 9-16, 2022-H9-Live w/pics

The bar between the 2 main dining rooms was also a great bar for a drink before dinner or really anytime. But, I recommend being in the haven and drinking an amazing martini in the haven bar lol
