I've been on five cruises since the pandemic, and I caught covid on one of them. Fully vaxxed (5x) and am so over it. I have four more cruises booked for this year.
Good afternoon all! I'll be cruising out of San Diego for the first time this April on NCL Jewel. Just wondering...what's the best way to get to the airport post-cruise? Looking at a map, the airport looks soooo close! (Almost close enough to walk.)
Thanks.
I will be on the NCL Joy, which is scheduled to arrive in New York at 7:00 am on Wed., Sept. 20, 2023.
Is it feasible to catch an 11:30 am Amtrak train from Penn Station?
Thanks.
I called NCL for a second time and gave the nice agent a specific cabin number that I saw on a third-party website. She was able to book it for me. Case closed! 🤗
I've booked a lot of cruises, but usually many months in advance of the sailing date. I'm currently looking at a May 11 sailing out of Southampton, but the only balconies remaining are the "guaranteed" ones. Since I really prefer choosing my cabin, I'm wondering if more balcony cabins will become available after the final payment date of January 11.
Thoughts?
I have a late flight home out of Fort Lauderdale airport. I have Carnival airport transfers from PortMiami. I know they run multiple buses, just wondering how late they run, since I have lots of time.
Thanks.
I just booked a Med cruise for Oct. 2024, and a Caribbean for Feb. 2025. I opted for refundable deposits on both. There was no All Included option though. 🤔
In my experience, cruise lines only release some of the available cabins at any particular time. I often use Costco's cruise search feature which shows all available cabins on a specific cruise.
If I see a cabin that I want, I'll book a similar one on Carnival's site and put it on hold. They I'll call Carnival and ask to be moved to the cabin I really want.
This is not a marijuana problem...it's a smoking problem. Smoking outside designated areas is prohibited; it doesn't matter what you're smoking.
And, yes, a little enforcement would be appeciated.
I'm thinking of booking a transatlantic on Prima in an oceanview cabin. All oceanviews are on deck 5 which does not have cabins above and below. I can pick a cabin under a restaurant which shouldn't be too loud. The big unknown is: what is on deck 4?
Looking for reviews of anyone who has stayed in a Prima oceanview. How quiet (or not) was your cabin?
Thanks.
