  1. Sounds like she did you a favor. Most of us have enough post-cruise clutter. Unfortunately, that Sapphire pin that I thought I "accidentally" left in the cabin on the Pearl showed up on DW's dresser top. Oh well. It doesn't take up much space (not sure where it's at now). 🤣 If I ever find a duck, I'll just leave it there for the next person to enjoy.
  2. That sounds like a loooooooooooooong day. Are you going to work the next day?
  3. That makes sense. The OP didn't mention CAS, so I doubt that the cruise being too cheap will be an issue for her.
  4. Yes, I realize I'm quoting a post from October. That said, since this is about the Brewhouse I have critical information to share. I believe that this menu is from the Joy, because there is no Guinness and Pop's Porter is the only dark ale. Bliss and Encore have both had Guinness on tap. That would be enough for me to book Bliss/Encore instead of the Joy. Well, that and what they're doing to screw up the OL. 😬
  5. I have never used Cruise First, but have used Cruise Next a lot. The $250 per CN comes off the total, which includes base fare, taxes, port fees, etc. Is there such a thing as a seven day NCL cruise that has out the door pricing of less than $500? According to CruisePlum, the cheapest total price booking currently available on NCL is a 12 day Orlando - Rome inside cabin for one passenger at $1210.
  6. I've applied CN to existing reservations many times. In most cases, I've applied 2 under double up offers to existing reservations. In the others, I've used a single CN at time of booking and added a 2nd during the next double up offer.
  7. Each person in the cabin can purchase 8. DW and I have purchased 16 on each of our last two cruises. All but two of those 32 are currently applied via double up offers to future cruises.
  8. Fact check? I said that the following statement was urban legend: "Just remember that 60% - 70% of reservation times are held back and not available until you board the ship" I'm sticking with that. You can rely on whatever (mis)information you choose to.
  9. Wow. I hadn't seen that one before. I blame stupid and not the alcohol. But, probably a combination of both?
  10. Yep. I've yet to have a cruise where a bunch of kids detracted from my experience. They don't bother me at the bar, in the casino or in any of sit down dining venues. I think they're mostly in the buffet. They aren't in the smaller clubs with musical acts either. I don't spend much time on the pool deck, so maybe that's where they're "causing trouble" for other cruisers. I've heard these scattered reports of teens gathering in the stairwells and blocking traffic. With DW's bum knee, we usually take the elevators anyways. Besides, many kids are better company on the ship than some of the "adults."😎
  11. Are you suggesting that making our reservations 125 days out is not a smart play? We should just wait and hope that every sailing will be just like your Prima cruise allegedly was?
  12. Really? On every NCL cruise during every month of the year? That doesn't sound right.
  13. Several of us prefer the "down the rat hole" version. So close, yet so far...... You may need some coaching/guidance from my very good friend @HBCcruiser
  14. She is an amazingly talented singer/piano player. This is the bazillion dollar question. I think DD tracks her on that face thingy on social media. I'll have to ask.
  15. Or, you could just buy NCL's house insurance that provides FCC for cancel for any reason.
  16. I agree. 120 day vs. 90 day final payment isn't much of a factor. We buy third party insurance at final payment and it covers us for cancellations due to medical reasons (as well as the much more important medical emergency and medivac). If we can't pass the 60 day pre-existing lookback, we cancel the cruise if it looks like there may be some issues. We should probably look into an annual policy "one of these days." 🤣
  17. Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.
  18. Yes, I think so. I don't know why they would change it from what it has been.
  19. We're just going to show up at @YVRteacher's house and sleep "somewhere." 🤣 (she doesn't know yet, so don't nobody tell her nothin')🐀
  20. Alexa is the one who would have universal appeal. If somebody doesn't enjoy listening to Alexa, they are likely extremely drunk or dead (fine line?).
