    tote bag?

I may have mis-spoken. We may have received the backpacks when in the Owners Suite.

    tote bag?

We have had several backpacks like these when sailing in Silver Suites and above. They are great backpacks, way better than ones we have had from Regent and Scenic. We have taken them on cruises with Seabourn and Viking and had several questions on where we got them.
  3. For interest, I detailed the suite pricing on Dawn for all cruises in 2024. If you are interested the file is attached. Two key points emerge: 1. The huge premiums for suites above silver are on all sailings after April 2024. 2. There are no waitlisted suites from April out. This is most unusual as the top suites are quickly snapped up normally. It seems that even the big spenders are smart enough to see that Silversea's suite pricing is no longer competitive. 4. I guess topic drift is what I am talking about. I have just read all 22 pages to educate myself on the New Crystal. Early posts were helpful. But now the board reads more like a Seabourn review.
  5. What happened to the discussions about Crystal? Time to close the thread?
  6. Actually I have looked at a lot of future cruises and the price hike is everywhere.
  7. I might be beating a dead horse but comparing Silversea with Regent pricing for similar 10 day caribbean voyages has Silversea way higher in the top suites. Regent Grand - $15,699 SS Royal - $27,100 Regent Master - $17,799 SS Grand - $29,800 SS Owners - $32,400 I don't get the strategy.
  8. I don't see anyone paying three times the Silver price for an Owners. I have sailed in both and apart from a bit more space and a second potty the amenities are pretty much the same. The total cost differential for the cruise is $90,600 . . . and the extra potty is not gold plated.
  9. I have just received an email in response to my application for shareholder credit. It says that Silversea is not a part of the RCL program, despite the RCL website clearly stating that it is. Another example of corporate confusion.
  10. Back to the original subject; does anyone share my suspicion that the huge increase in top suite pricing is an error on the website? If so, someone is going to be fired! I have tried to send an email to corporate but they have done a really good job of hiding their email addresses.
  11. I hope this version of the chart will be clearer! Owners vs. Silver Owners Grand Royal Silver Feb 2024. 10 Day Caribbean on Dawn $11,100 $20,700 $19,500 $18,300 +86% Feb 2025. 10 Day Caribbean on Moon $10,700 $32,400 $29,800 $27,100 +200%
  12. Researching cruises for early 2025 it seems that Silversea have drastically raised prices on the highest level suites. We usually book a Silver Suite and have occasionally treated ourselves to an Owners Suite or a Grand Suite which have historically been priced about 75 - 85% higher than a Silver Suite. For sailings in late 2024 and early 2025 the Owners Suite is now offered at a price 3 times that of the Silver Suite. Examples of comparable cruises on Moon and Dawn in January - February 2024 and 2025 are below: Silver Ste. Owners Ste. Grand Ste. Royal Ste. Owners vs. Silver Jan 26 - Feb 5, 2024. 10 Day Caribbean on Dawn $11,100 $20,700 $19,500 $18,300 +86% Feb 17 - Feb 27, 2025. 10 Day Caribbean on Moon $10,700 $32,400 $29,800 $27,100 +200% All quoted in price per guest. I have to believe that this an error. If so, it is one that will seriously impact sales of the top suites. These prices are way out of line with the cost of Regent and Seabourn top suites
  13. Good news. RC has extended its shareholder benefit to cruisers on Silversea. Link to form is: https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/
  14. But not many. On a recent Regent cruise our lunch options were: Buffet, Chartreuse or Prime 7 (alternating daily) and pool grill that opened at 11:30AM.
  15. If you don't like sushi your lunch options on Encore are very limited. The main dining room did not open for lunch once on our recent 14 day Greek Isles cruise. The pool grill did not open until 1PM (very strange). So we were stuck with the buffet every day. The menu changed each day and was generally good; but the venue became boring.
  16. What could be the rationale for not offering shareholder credits to Silversea cruisers? They are offered on Celebrity. Why not the whole group?
  17. Read the post already discussing this subject.
  18. Does anyone know who the CD is currently on Silver Dawn? Also, does anyone know if Ricco has rejoined Silversea? He is one of our favorite CDs.
  19. Looking forward to your reviews. I hope that the fit is perfect!
  20. Just disembarked from Seabourn; one obnoxious 5/6 year old that screamed all the time. It doesn't take many to spoil a cruise.
  21. We sail on Encore on April 23. We received our first (and so far only) boarding time notification on April 14. A little more than a week out.
  22. Does anyone know if Explora has set up a department to handle air and hotel reservations? While not always competitive on pricing, most cruise lines offer this service, along with transfers, so everything is handled in one place.
  23. Well, it seems that NCL is going back to the e-muster. Hopefully this will be across all brands.
