I’m guessing you mid-interpreted +1 extra entrée comment. That referred to one additional choice. You can have as many mains, starters or deserts as you can eat at no additional charge in the MDR, Club Orange or the buffet.

Since cruising resumed, I have sailed on the Equinox twice in the Caribbean and once on the Summit to Bermuda. All of the cruises have been in standard veranda cabins with packages that included drinks, tips and wifi. I am also booked on the Edge from Rome to Singapore in October. After that cruise, I’m likely done with Celebrity. For me the first issue is the quality and quantity of food in the MDR. There are fewer choices that appeal to me, the quality of the meat seems to have dropped dramatically and the portions are much smaller. Food is subjective but for me, it just doesn’t work anymore. I also don’t find the E-class ships attractive for non-suite guests that enjoy the conventional balconies. I also struggle finding interesting itineraries on S-class ships that can be bundled together for a longer cruise. For that matter, I have been irritated ever since Celebrity dropped most of their 14 day itineraries. As far as price is concerned, my 12 night cruise on the Equinox cost me $6650 in a balcony cabin for 12 days in August 2021. For August of 2024 I have to book an E-class ship for 8 days at $8000 for a IV cabin with a non refundable deposit. The value for me isn’t there. If Celebrity still works for others, that’s great. I hope they enjoy their cruises,

I know that’s how it’s advertised but our experience on the Rotterdam and maybe all Pinnacle class ships is that they offer several additional main selections. Here are tonight’s menus. Here’s the MDR Here’s Club Orange

Club orange benefits depend on the ship. The best deal is on the Pinnacle class ships where there is a dedicated suite/Club Orange dining room. There is also the room upgrade if you book upgraded cabins within a class. But booking within 32 days of departure, Club Orange may be full.

Nope, you missed the point. You said you barely smelled smoke. That’s bad. It would have been bad on your cruise and it’s bad on my current cruise.

Here’s the thing about the prices increases and service cutbacks. The ships are sailing full and as long as the ships are full and the bookings are strong, prices will continue to increase. Until demands starts to level off, it only makes sense for the cruise lines to continue to raise prices. Why shouldn’t the cruise line raise prices? Even if you or I choose not to book, there are still plenty of people to take the cabin at higher prices.

Nope, all of the cutbacks and cost increases are not affecting my decision to book future cruises on Celebrity. It’s the E-class ships that have sent me to the exit gate. The lack of a real balcony for non-suite guests and the allocation of prime space on the ship to the suite guests are the real issues for me. Celebrity is now assigning their best itineraries to E-class ships, so it’s getting more difficult to avoid the E-class ships. The ride has been nice, but Celebrity has left me on the dock.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You think think the smoke eater machines are working well because you can barely smell the smoke while someone sensitive to second hand smoke would call that a failure.

See, I knew this would happen. The OP experienced something, please don’t try to minimize their experience. Please take the OP at face value when they reported smoke outside of the casino that affected their cruise experience.

This can’t be true. Several people have reported that the smoke doesn’t leave the casino on Pinnacle class ships.
