  2. When are you on the Millie in August? We are too. The 4th Northbound and the 11th southbound. We were on the Panama Canal with you.

  5. Hi, We are on the Millennium again in 2 weeks. Do you remember who the Captain was and the Activities Director? Still have to try your Zacapa Rum! Glad you added 2 bottles.
  6. Will be on Millie - a little less than 3 weeks. We love the Martini Bar. That's our first stop after the muster station! It has become our tradition to start our cruises.
  7. We have been on some cruises and they don't have to make an announcement because guest just do it and we have been on cruises that they had announcements frequently. It even got to the point were the called the passengers by name.
  8. Do the muster drill on the app in the am before you board. Once onboard you MUST go to your muster station and check in with the crew. Generally, no lines and they scan your sea pass card. It is very easy to do. This is the first thing we do when we get onboard after dropping our luggage off and grabbing our sea pass card. The ship can not depart until everyone is checked in at their muster station.

  10. Will be on Mille for 2 weeks in August. Interested to speak with the staff on board and what they think regarding vaping. We have another final payment due on September 1st for the Equinox. We may not be making that final payment and asking for our deposit to be refunded if Celebrity does change the policy and regarding indoors vaping/smoking in the casinos.
  11. Go to your email - you should have received an email confirming your bid from the 3rd party - Upgrade. There is a link there to modify, view or cancel your bid. There seems to be a problem with the Celebrity site - showing bids.
  12. The executive office stated to me that the emails and feedback are overwhelmingly against vaping.

  14. If someone gets a phone call - ask what is the metrics for this test period? 1. How do they know vapers are spending more money than they did before? 2. Exposure to employees- are they taking Xrays/Cat scans of their lungs and blood work to see if they have experienced any medical issues. 3. How are they determining what guest are effected and who was not - are they speaking to each guest who gambles and who walks thru the casino? I would like to know the parameters of this "test" or is it a fly by your pants. I didn't get the form letter but it has no basis for the claim "not impacting present guests". I wish I would have stated these things on my phone from them. I will right another letter. UGGG
  15. Keep us posted!! Have you spoke to any of the employee's regarding their opinion about vaping. I hope Celebrity is considering the health of their employees.

  17. I deal with guest vaping all winter. I understand Federal law prohibits smoking on ships and federal land but with Dab pens and Oil pens guest think they can "vap" anywhere and the smell is disguised. They try and tell you they are vaping tobacco -- the guest do it while waiting in line. When you inform them that Vaping THC on federal land is illegal most of them are naive. All ages vap THC not just the young.

  19. We will be on the Millie early August - I will be letting guest service know our concerns about vaping onboards since the "test" period will still be going on. I hope others do the same on other ships. My daughter is asthmatic - we planned her birthday cruise on the Equinox in November. I informed the lady today that called in regards to my email - we may need to rethink our Equinox cruise if the "test" becomes permanent and the other cruises we have booked. She did state the overwhelming response to vaping indoors is negative. She stated that the impact to the guests has not been determined. Glad I got a phone call - the email you received - I think a vapor wrote it🤣
  20. Final payment was due and there was a problem with our invoice. She corrected right away and sent a new invoice. I was dreading it but took the advise of someone on here to call around 3:00pm EST and the wait times are shorter. It worked for me. I called the regular number listed on the web site. I booked the cruise myself - option 2 I think.
  21. Just received my phone call from the executive office. The lady was typing as I spoke regarding our objections. I had made a list prior to her calling since I saw so many folks getting phone calls. I quoted the CDC, John Hopkins and the Cleveland Clinic studies. I stated facts then my personal feelings regarding vaping. She stated the feed back is very negative. I was able expressed all of my concerns even without a morning cup of coffee! The call was about 10 minutes long. She stated the more feed back the better.
  22. Called this afternoon 1:00pm Mountain time - Celebrity recording said wait time was 25 minutes...put my speaker phone on and started cleaning. I was connected to an agent in 8 minutes 36 seconds - situation fixed in 1 minute.
  23. So will we write an email to the new CEO. This is very disappointing.
