It's not 'most' or 'some', it's literally every other cabin. The way to figure it out is to find a connecting cabin. The cabin on the LEFT (as though you are in the hallway looking at the two doors) has the bed by the bathroom. The one on the right has the bed by the balcony. Now just go up and down the deck doing every other from there. As for preference, I prefer the bed by the bathroom so that you can get out to the balcony easier, and so that that whole open and larger 'living area' encompasses the balcony, and so that the sunlight isn't blocked by the bed. I've actually never had the bed by the balcony and actively seek out cabins to avoid it. If you tell me your cabin number on Harmony I'd be happy to let you know how it's arranged.

Wow, super helpful, thank you! Is there a charge? A raised toilet seat might also be appreciated. We are booked as a large group through Royal and it seems every time we want to do something we have to call the group number. Will that be the case here, or do you really think it could be booked through the app?

Hello, booked in an ocean balcony regular room on Harmony in May. Someone sailing with me would prefer a seat in the shower for balance reasons but doesn't actually need a handicap accessible room (and there aren't any available anyway). Do they offer seats that can go in the showers in the regular rooms?? I know it would need to be tiny but I just wondered if it could be added. Do they at least have grab bars?

Back when no one's card was being accepted and we kept getting error messages saying to try another card, and sales weren't going through, people kept seeing pending charges. It's been a week now, have those charges dropped off, or have they stuck? It's frustrating, the internet and key sale are STILL going on for my May Harmony sailing so I clearly did not need to act so quickly on it and deal with that mess in the beginning.

That's odd...the description I read for mine says nothing about not being able to wear shorts or skirts (so pants are required??) and nothing about free gifts/swag.

You have to be on airplane mode to use the wifi?? I don't get that. I took a RC cruise in 2018 and purchased wifi. Does this mean it's NOT my first time? Would there be something saved from back then, or should I say it's my first time?

Can someone tell me what these are like? Harmony is offering it for my May trip for $138 which sounds like a lot, but I've never done one so I don't know. Would love to hear others' experiences.

How does one get bumped? Did you actually book Harmony and then RC called you and said you were now on Wonder?? How/why?? Did you have any say in the matter?

I've only been on one cruise, in 2018. Reading this thread though, makes me dread my upcoming cruise in May. I absolutely do not want people constantly asking me how things are and interrupting and telling me to rate them a 10 on a survey. That sounds very intrusive and rude. If RC is either telling them to do this, or rewarding/punishing them if they do/don't, shame on RC. The whole thing sounds very uncomfortable for everyone involved. Is the staff truly so subservient to people? I am not on vacation to be bowed and scraped to, I am on vacation to enjoy the people I have chosen to be with (which is NOT the staff) and to relax. If this is how things go it sounds very unrelaxing and not a whole lot of fun. I do recall announcements going on in the dining room a lot, but I mostly ignored it. I don't recall my waiters being annoying but now I'm definitely scared. I certainly hate the whole idea of one group of people being waited on hand and foot by another group of people from less wealthy countries.

I don't understand...did your husband HAVE to be out of the cabin? Could you both have been on your phones whilst streaming a movie on your laptop? How did you set up a hotspot?

So someone with the ONE person with TWO devices plan can use TWO devices at the SAME time? And that second device can be your cabin mate's phone? So a couple can buy the one person, two device plan and they can both use their phones at the same time? That was my understanding, but someone recently off the Anthem said it was explained to them on board that you would have to log off your first device and then log into your second device, and that you could not use both at the same time. That doesn't make sense to me because then why would anyone purchase that option then? What if you're working on board and need both your laptop and work phone on? Or work phone and personal phone? IS there perhaps a halt to two different people using the one person, two device plan? Like would they know I purchased that for myself and am sharing the code and letting my daughter use it on her phone, too? Wouldn't that still be my choice, though, of which two devices I want to apply the log in to? My phone and her phone?

I tried three times to book internet and it kept saying my card wouldn't go through and to try a different one. I gave up and finally last night tried a fourth time and everything worked well (and was WAY cheaper than the other three times I tried, so YAY!). My order history ONLY shows the purchase that went through. I have been unable to check my credit card at this moment but for those of you with pending charges that shouldn't be there, are those charges also showing up in your order history? Does the fact that only one purchase shows up in order history hopefully mean my card wasn't charged for those other three attempts?

Thanks, I'm doing it correctly but the site sure isn't! I tried to just buy the one device each per person at $13.99 per person per day just to have it since the price isn't THAT much different from the one person two device offering and it wouldn't take my credit card which is a good card. I gave up and went to work and am trying now but the whole site is down. Do better, RC, do better...

Same here, but frustrated because it SAYS second device is 11.99 (first is 13.99) but that's not how their math adds up...both are the full 13.99 and no plain surf option at all.

Wow...I"m so glad everyone was all right. What a story! I'm just picturing all those stewards packing everyone's stuff in each room...what an ordeal. I'm a fussy packer, I can't imagine the state of all those bags, lol. Sounds like you and your husband are calm, cool, and collected people and just the type I want in an emergency!! Wow, could you elaborate more on what happened? Were you ever allowed back on at some point to retrieve your belongings? Did you actually get into a lifeboat and get taken to safety somewhere? How scary! Did you happen to write about this event somewhere on here that I could find it?

I'm so glad it was quiet...deck plans don't show what IS across the hall (I worried it might be a crew stairway or supply room or something noisy that's not for passengers so it doesn't show up on the deck plans. How was the condition of the room? Was the bed hard? I keep hearing Harmony beds are hard... Did you buy one of the wifi packages? I want to get the cheaper one and am hoping it works well. Anything else you'd like to share about the room, the ship or the cruise in general I'd love to hear! Thanks again!

Thanks everyone! Yes, I've been looking at Fort Lauderdale and Miami, both. The options are just so bad. I may end up flying into Fort Lauderdale but not landing until 10:40 pm which kinda stinks, and I may fly out of Miami just because they have the earliest flight (3:45!!!). I'm in upstate NY and not used to such terrible options when flying to Florida, but then I've only ever flown into Orlando for Disney vacations.

I haven't actually booked the flight yet, since I'm still trying to figure out which awful options is the least awful, lol, but yes, I plan to come in a day ahead. Thank you for thinking of me and trying to prevent me from losing out entirely!

Please tell me more about the Everglades tour! Where would I find this? I am on Harmony in May if that makes any difference. So the tour stores your bags and then after the tour they take you and the bags to the airport?

Thank you so much! What is the latest we would be allowed to leave the ship? What kind of free breakfast is allowed on the last morning? Is it possible to have a 'nice' breakfast onboard? Would we have our luggage with us, or do we put it out the night before? If the night before, how do we see it again? The one time I cruised before I kept it with me and left as soon as I could to make it to Disney World ASAP (obviously was at Port Canaveral for that one). If we keep the luggage with us, do we drag it into the ship restaurant, or can we leave it in our room? So there is a free trolley between the ship and the airport, both ways?
