Hot toddy reminds me of my grandmother, everyday is a good day to hug and thank goodness people realize smoking is hazardous to everyone. Work is really testing my patience and my calendars aren't syncing up, so that's making it worse. Grrr... 36° headed to sunny 70° but only 50° tomorrow and a cold weekend; at least the single digit overnights are gone from the forecast. Not been to today's port. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.

Ooh - if you like fruity nojitos, you might try a strawberry 🍓 mojito; I'm sure it could be made as the nojito variety. It was suggested to me by a bartender on a HAL ship and it was love at first sip. 🧡

Oh, no - sorry Russ got removed from a waitlist and very sorry he was treated rudely😪; no matter what is happening, there's never a reason that should happen. I've seen those hangers you used to ask for a pillow, but have never used one myself. Have you considered trying the Navigator App? Last cruise (ended Jan 6) the service request feature wasn't working, but the "Let us Know" feedback was. You can send a request for pillows, laundry pickup, etc through it and GS will get it to the right dept. Just an option if you weren't aware of it.

@TravelBluebird Hey Dee - you may have already mentioned this, so if you did I apologize for the redundancy. Jumping in here late and not yet caught up... Although you are a very seasoned cruiser, you may find "City on the Sea" worth attending. It's kinda HALs filmed version (aka free) of a "Behind the Fun" tour. It should be listed in the Daily & Navigator for the World Stage. Very interesting to get a look at many of the places we want to see but can't go to plus learn a lot about the ship and services. 😉

I'm jelly - you know our stop in Ensenada was 7pm-1130pm. I did manage to get in a nice wine tasting.

Note to self - make friends w/Dee and sit next to Russ for peace of mind (always good to be near a pilot) 😉 Agree it's nice to sit w/DH, but I just want us out of those middle seats🤔 Happy to follow along w/you - I always learn so much. Thanks for letting us tag along.

No they do not, so you can continue to breathe, lol. There are times when the venues are not being used for music that they are used to host other functions. BB King's, for example, is where daily mass was held most mornings on the K'dam. Coffee talks w/T&CD and their guests will use one of the locations as will the florist. There was light banter about art auctions which prompted me to post the pictures after seeing an auction being set up. Jewelry auctions are held in there, too, but they don't make the visual impact all those paintings lined up make. 😏

It will be visible to HAL Reservations, so any agent (including TA & PCC) will be able to see it. I don't have one available to show you, but you can see it in the details near the end of your booking confirmation. Ask your TA to send you a current one.

Correct - you will still get upgrade and upsell offers, which you can take or decline, but you will not automatically be upgraded to a different cabin. Huge difference.

We use Luggage Direct out of SeaTac (love the waived fee) and the ship transfer for flight before noon - so far has not been an issue. We did this as recently as May 6, 2023 from Eurodam.

@rothbury this has been my experience as recently as Nov, Dec and this month, so I believe safe to say this is the process HAL is still using.
