  1. It was this month when I was on K'dam - the cut off to pre-purchase is 3 or 4 days prior to sailing.
  2. Good days today worth celebrating- Ben Franklin sure made an impact on our country as did Betty White in very different ways. I quite enjoy a good cable car ride; took almost 2 months for me to catch the one in Cape Town open (high winds frequently close it), but I was finally able to do it before I had to leave - the views did not disappoint. Would try the meal, drink and wine; not been to the port. Finally warming up a bit (currently 18°, headed to 45° but feels like 9°. Thank goodness it will be above freezing when precipitation comes back into the forecast. PT at home again today - needs to warm up enough I can turn the space heaters off when I leave. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  3. See - it does pay to be honest and tell the truth. Life Lessons sponsored by CCL...
  4. We've had 3 w/1 using the sleeper w/no complaints. Enjoy the larger balcony!!
  5. I routinely have excursions moved from CC (pre-cruise purchase) to OBC, but have never tried it w/Thermalpass. As @FlaMariner mentioned Thermalpass is marketed as limited availability, but I've also not known passes to "sell out." Spa is 1 of my first 3 stops after embarkation. Enjoy!!
  6. I am L🧡VING your iceberg pictures - haven't seen a single "weird white balcony thing" in any of them - you're doing a great job!! I am sure your balcony door is getting a workout! Hope Russ doesn't mind all the in/outs - tell him we appreciate it and hope he feels better soon.
  7. I really wish they would offer this for select itineraries - missed a lot of talks on Hawaiian cruise recently - they do impact the cruise experience. So thrilled you're niw able to see yours on the TV; I'm sure it will make a great cruise even better.
  8. In Navigator App at the bottom click "plan" then select "my itinerary." You will be able to choose from each day of your cruise - also noted as sea day or the port name. When you click on a day, all your excursions and dining reservations will show.
  9. Sometimes. And sometimes they simply chose to be late with a fair certainty the bus (or ship) would still be there waiting on them. The busload of us who were on time were not offered any legitimate reason (or in fact, ANY reason) for the tardiness that cost us a visit to the Arizona Memorial as mentioned by OP.
  10. Welcome to HAL! Thanks for sharing your observations; appreciate the post. It's unfortunate ypu had the issue w/aft cabin - we love those (wake views are amazing IMO) - but are pleased to hear you'll be back.
  11. Ypu can look all you want, but I'm fairly certain nobody is hiding emeralds. The ones you find in the onboard jewelry shop can be really expensive- ducks are free.
  12. We were in a Terrazza aft wrap in Sept B2B. The best part was the Terraza brunch in the Steakhouse. There is no pool in Terraza area, just hot tubs. Hot tubs were hardly ever used, but it was fall, not summer. Same for loungers - always good ones available.
  13. Are you asking about the Venezia? When we were on in Sept, morning room service was available. There are a lot of dining options on embarkation day, but we ate at the Lido.
  14. Oh heave - don't even want to know what's in that towel that the person who abandoned it didn't even want. Ick, ugh, ewe and just no.
  15. Yikes- maybe we'll be thawed out by April. That's an awesome festival- I hope you're able to get all the cats herded or ducks lined up. So sorry 😞
  16. Very unfortunate situation - sorry you're stuck in it. I'm confused as to why the booking number would be archived. We're able to see past cruises from many years ago. While you may not have the booking number, the cruise should still show.
  17. Be sure we know when it's your turn and what you're wearing so we can stear clear - don't want to be under there when that happens 😳
  18. @dfisch Last 2 (Dec on NS & Jan on K'dam) it was 7:30.
  19. I really like the Keen convertible close toed sandals. You can remove the back strap so they're kind of like a clog, but with the strap on they're tight enough to be stable walking on uneven ground and still be cool like sandals. I also appreciate the little bit of arch support. Tbere are lots of color choices and several styles. I've worn mine for everything from zip lining to swimming w/[enter favorite creature here, lol]. They have been in the water a lot.
  20. Discussed class size on a recent cruise - "back in our day" in public school, we had 30+ students per class w/helpers being fellow students; occasionally we'd have a Student Teacher. Of course, we may have had Student Teachers more frequently than we remember, but I really don't recall it being often. Glad we've learned smaller is better, but it sure is hard on school systems.
