The ship looks great - looking forward to seeing the rest of your pictures as well as read your insights. I was on Venezia (B2B Sept) so I'm very interested in how well you think they did w/the conversion from Costa.

We have, too. We've been told that everyone who sits at the table gets charged. It's not about the number of people tying up seats, it's about revenue - they don't want people sharing food w/people who aren't paying for food. @wareaglefan444 But always worth asking.

And there's Teppanyaki. Lunch is same menu & portion sizes as dinner, but lower price.

Some cabins had ice buckets and some did not. We took a folding ice bag & had no issues w/cabin steward keeping it full. It folds flat, so easy packing.

This happened Jan in HI on K'dam - 4*, 5*, Suites & CO met in PG to board tenders. Later in the day, no need for tickets, but for the first morning runs, it's important to pay attention to the tender ticket process.

🏇Kentucky Derby Day 🏇 Great collection of days - Firefighters are amazing. Hard & quick pass on the meal (fish), the drink sounds good, would try the wine, not been to the port. Big day in history. @beshears I did 13 days B2B last Sept on Venezia out of NYC in an aft wrap Terrazza balcony and enjoyed most of it. However, a deal breaker for me, which will keep me from booking the Venezia again until it's resolved, is the VERY smokey casino. We were on 7 - the poor cabin steward was having a real hard time breathing due to the smoke. We kept looking for someone smoking in the halls, but it was the casino smoke. Crew told us the HVAC just couldn't keep up. Favorite part of the ship (I have 2 cuz they're tied) is Terrazza area on 5 and the windows being functional on Lido deck 10. Favorite place to eat is Teppanyaki. Best tip - go to Teppanyaki for lunch - same menu & portions as dinner but less expensive. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

Agree. A No Show will not result in losing your assigned cabin, a cancelation could.

We enjoy going around the island watching the natives. It's mostly about the beaches and the food. Going up to the lighthouse for the great view is worth doing if you have good weather.

If there was a crying or frowny emoji, I would use it for those pigeon murderers. And the future that is in their hands.🥺 Instead I used the laugh.

Glad you made it safely. For a real adventure, you can take a short drive to see Mount Carmel - the site of the Branch Dividien standoff off. There is still an active compound there. It's interesting, but shopping at Magnolia and going by the Castle are probably safer.

The rate is tied to Pax #1, so it matters a lot which person you cancel. Also, Px 3 & 4 generally (not always) have a lower rate. Sometimes it is better if the person simply is a no show vs canceling them.
