  1. Hugs @luvteachingas you remember & miss your DH; milestones can be hard.🤗❤️
  2. Amazing solar eclipse coming soon - Bon Voyage @lobsternight Bon Voyage @Brewgirl1 Bon Voyage and Happy Birthday @brnowl
  3. We enjoyed the window on the "secret insides" and thought the location was great - easy access to Crow's Nest and the Lido. The doors was occasionally roped off during really windy days.
  4. Same experience when we did the Double Denali in May first cruise coming out of the restart. Don't recall prices, but they were high. There's a couple options like breakfast only, dinner only or both.
  5. I really like the idea of putting the service dog notice on the TV - the extra awareness to them is terrific. It's absolutely unacceptable and disappointing when "do not pet" is not honored. And a HUGE slap in the face when the humans allow people to pet the dog that has been publicized to the entire ship as a working service animal.
  6. I've never had one hang down when not in use - just keep it stowed away and enjoy your cabin 🙃 🙂
  7. I don't drink them, so I had no opinion to offer, but cabin mate was quite disappointed w/hers Dec on K'dam. She did not say what was wrong, just made a face at the first sip and said "that's not right" and did not order another one. She did; however, find the Lemondrops quite tasty.
  8. Ooh, yes - I have been looking forward to seeing that menu since @POA1 said they would be on this cruise. So exciting😎
  9. @kazu we went through many frustrating interviews and a disastrous kennel experience & ultimately found our best sitter through Rover. We talked to some ok ones and some really awful ones, too, but that can happen no matter where you get their name, IMO. W/Rover, we were looking only for sitters to keep the dogs at their place, not come to ours. And ones that let them stay indoors but had large yards, preferably w/a doggie door. We also asked how many dogs they kept at one time; we didn't needs ours to be the only ones, but didn't want a whole herd - one couple we talked to said they kept up to 30 at a time!! I felt like we had a lot of requirements. One of the dogs can seriously not be trusted so he requires constant supervision. The other dog is the worst velcro dog I've ever seen, so she can't be alone, either. Well, we found a couple that was amazing, he is a former firefighter & she's a former Marine, they can handle anything & nothing phases them, lol. Well, the guy fell so in love w/our big boy that he offered to buy him & said if we ever had to rehome him to please call. In our area, there are quite a few providers on Rover, so that's good. But their fees lately have really increased, no break for providing your own food or snacks, which I think is crazy. But you should be able to see pictures and the really good ones will post detailed resumes. My vet and groomer were not open to providing referrals, probably because they also kennel. I hope the best for you and Ivan and wish I was in your area cuz I would for sure watch him.
  10. Remind me, please, the dates & ship of the TA. Very much enjoyed my first one last Nov Dec (Rome->FLL) that I did w/my friend and DH is agreeable to considering one.
  11. That boarding card is newish to me; last time I got a card (it wasn't fancy like that) was pre-Covid.
  12. So excited to hunker in for this edition of The Institute's latest research publication. Bon Voyage @POA1 @Huskerchick and the always delightful Poohby Joe! I wish you all a great holiday weekend and fabulous safe cruise.
  13. DH would like the meal, I like broccoli 🥦 cooked so it's a pass for me along w/the drink (coconut) and wine (tobacco, damp earth and $100!), not been to the port @StLouis Cruiser pictures look very nice. Eye Dr this morning, will learn if insurance approved the procedure (whatever it is), then work. Congrats @dfish on booking the TA! @summer slope hope you feel less sore each day. @kazu hope power returns soon, thank goodness for the generator. 🤞 You find the right person for Ivan. Currently 59° headed to windy 79°. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  14. You could call Ships Inventory. I do not have the number handy and can look it up if someone else doesn't post it for you.
  15. Welcome to HAL!! Aft cabins are the best - the wake view is fabulous. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise and your CO tote.
  16. That is an interesting twist. I've not heard of that nor have I received an offer of that kind. I'm sure you'll enjoy your cruise!!
