  1. @TMJplus1 I also use either the forward elevator or stairs, depending on cabin location, and go up in a robe covering swimsuit. Very occasionally gotten a "side eye" 👀on the elevator, but frequently am the only one in it and will continue my ritual until someone else picks up the tab, at which time I'll abide by their rules.🙄 Yes @FLCruiser97 I think it sets a great relaxing vibe for the day.
  2. @Saint Greg and these signs do nothing IMO. But I appreciate they're there.
  3. Thanks to @summer slope detailed post, I will be passing on today's drink. Although the picture is pretty.
  4. Good to hear the table move got you the service you deserve. Let's hope it's a dining room wide lasting improvement.
  5. Interesting collection of days - I'll celebrate chocolate covered nuts and leave the chowder for others to enjoy. Seems we have to limit the chocolate nut consumption or we won't be eating right? ?? The quote. Haven't considered putting broccoli on a cheese egg muffin, but I could try it - I have a fresh head of broccoli waiting to be eaten. Don't know what the drink is, so not sure if I'd try it, yes on the wine, not been to the port. Paper money was a good thing for the US even though it brings it's share of challenges. No work today, thank goodness cuz I really want a day of nothing. I'll be putting the stuff back under the kitchen sink after DH shortens a pipe the plumber said needs to be cut off. So, that's the extent of my activity for today. And maybe a nap. 😴 I should give the dogs a bath, but I'm sure I won't, so no use saying I will. Thanks to all who sent kind thoughts regarding my brother. He is missed. I send birthday wishes to him March 24 and would ask you mark your calendars. 💔 Currently 55° headed to hot sunny 86° and 93° tomorrow. It was 79° yesterday. Seriously Mother Nature, grab a pair of glasses- it's still February. Prayers and positive thoughts to all. 🙏
  6. @happytotravel @racephoto as @oakridger said, crew may tell you to go to the Lido but MDR is likely open w/no invitation needed. It will be the lower level (MDR is 2 levels) and is typically open from 12 - 1 or 1:30. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!
  7. I haven't been in this month to buy any, but that's hood to know - I'm going to look.
  8. Fabulous tips. @ger_77 I'm also happy to send you a bottle. Telizking at yahoo dot com if you want to send me your address. Maybe if a few of us send you some, even if a shipment gets confiscated others may make it.
  9. That's what I use for cruising. Cabin card and whatever I need on shore (DL, CC) go in outside sleeve and the adjustable strap allows me to carry phone as crossbody so no need for pickets or worry about dropping or losing phone. It's been very handy for port days. Next best thing to carrying nothing.
  10. And since the menus are posted each day on TV, you can use that to see the offerings if you don't use your phone.
  11. I've seen the book available for purchase, but have never looked at one. They should put copies in the library now that they're open again. You can buy on eBay for little $$ if you want to save OBC.
  12. I do not receive the military OBC, only DH gets it as the Vet.
  13. Seaweed Wrap is my favorite, although my last 2 cruises (NS and K'dam) I was told the waterbath tables have been removed so the treatment for me is not worth doing. I get Reflexology every cruise, usually twice - at beginning and at end of cruise.
  14. No, you cannot use OBC in advance of boarding. No experience asking for dining charges to be moved from CC to OBC, although I've seen it said several times that GS can do it once onboard. I always pre-pay excursions and have them moved to OBC on Day-1. You must have Shore Exc Desk do this, not GS (GS is not able).
  15. I'm aligned likely poor communication. How often does one get different answers depending on who answers a call?
  16. I thought the same and resisted until work required we use ride share and stopped reimbursing car rentals and taxis. Oh my, for someone who traveled 10-11 months/yr that was a short learning curve - like getting pushed out of a plane w/no tandem partner. I used it daily for 8 weeks when working in So Africa.
  17. Agree - no 7 day notices is disappointing, especially since that's how the program was rolled out. Great for those who can make 24 hours work. And better for those who can make 90 minutes work (as some report getting that short of notice).
  18. Nice! Congrats! Double congrats on getting a VB cabin! Triple congrats on laundry!! Safe travels- enjoy your cruise!
  19. Here's hoping there's power in the stickers.🤞👀🤷‍♀️
