  1. Don't discount Ocean Blue. We just ordered the wrong things and would rather have chosen Cagney's. On Joy, there is no reason to double up. There are many other options we look forward to trying on Encore next April.
  2. First thing in the morning, last thing at night. Other than that, occasionally.
  3. We chose Ocean Blue over Cagney's -- shouldn't have done that.
  4. That's it! It was the Getaway. The public port side was added to Vibe. Thank you.
  5. Perhaps in the future you should assume the latter, rather than the former.
  6. I've not been able to. Certainly not the comedy acts. You can try at 21-days prior. Your best bet is to hit the Social immediately upon boarding.
  7. Wait, didn't they change that area to all Vibe? Or am I thinking of a different ship? Seems like we just had this discussion in another thread. Either that, or I'm slowly going insane....
  8. Looks like you're debating $800 (or so). How much does $800 mean to you? Have you ever cruised in a balcony? You don't seem to be that impressed with what you've seen. You are happy with the solo cabins, so, I'd say your $800 is best spent elsewhere. Do your thing. You know what you like.
  9. Not an expert, but I would certainly expect unusual activity onboard during that last sailing.
  10. But at what cost? That's the thing. Footloose was not good, at all. What the Joy will replace it with is an unknown at this point.
  11. Heh. Just being facetious. But I can probably count on one hand the number of checks I've written in the last 3 years.
  12. Where did you "notice this"? As others have stated, only Epic has that layout. Is there disinformation out there somewhere (dumb question)?
  13. My mistake. My brain gets scrambled remembering all the sail dates of the new ships. But yeah, at this point, you won't be able to book anything more online. Once on Prima, we found the NCL app to be worthless. Some had success at the touch screens near the elevators, but most stood in a 300-person line for an hour after embarkation. Best of luck to you.
  14. That is unfortunate. We will be on Escape in November and Encore in April. Of course, I will order it anyway, so we'll see. I really, really hope your experiences were outliers.
  15. We book in advance whenever possible, but it's just a "placeholder" to make sure we don't get locked out of our favorite places. We change them if they conflict with a show or other entertainment we don't want to miss. In August, on Viva (I assume you mean Prima), you can assume the specialty dining will be sold out -- except for very late dining. You will not like the long lines on embarkation for specialty dining. Try to accomplish it any other way.
  16. Strange. I'm currently going through my reservation for November. I can do everything I always could. Have you tried deleting cookies and Internet history? I did that this morning for another reason. Couldn't hurt to try.
  17. That's good stuff right there! 😄 I've noticed the stench of other passengers far more often than the crew.
  18. Actual, real-world experiences help everyone. Thanks!
  19. Heh. Just so you know, when your group shows up for the slot pull, the entire casino groans... 🤣
  20. At this moment, I can access everything. Your moment may be different.
  21. Absolutely agree. The lobster thermidor was insanely good. But it also had a $25 surcharge.
  22. We need to get back on topic, but I have to know -- convection or standard oven?
  23. I have always wanted to try a spatchcocked chicken on the grill, but never have. I can't imagine a whole turkey.
