  1. Does that make it right? 😉😜
  2. Just curious, anyone have any idea what type of commission goes to the travel agency?
  3. Hmmm, I thought this thread was about current Marina cruise, but once again seems to have gone astray.
  4. Certainly understand, my point was you indicated if this resort worked out, your cruising days may be over, not just this particular cruise.
  5. Well, not all cruises are around the Bay of Biscay.
  6. We’ve found a resort we thoroughly enjoy in Puerto Vallarta, MX which is all inclusive. While their food is excellent, it still is not on the same level as Oceania but yet the overall experience is wonderful and we are looking to book our third visit. It is pricey but still below an Oceania cruise but that is quite understandable as you are not being transported to somewhere new every day, but it certainly is a much more relaxed experience which is why we have returned. Not to the point of stopping to cruise yet though. I think we have a few more good years for both.
  7. As far as I’m aware there are no bathtubs on the R ships. Definitely not in PH.
  8. And by lights I mean light switches, sorry.
  9. Above is photo I found online with beds close together. As I recall on Vista the bedside tables are not built in but movable so most likely they would also set it up with one of them between the beds. If that is done then the one bed is right next to sofa and the lights and outlets are then at the head of the bed. A bit awkward but doable.
  10. In Post #19, you indicated you purchased a G cabin 10/2022 on Sirena for $2499 pp and later upgraded to a C1 cabin for $2849 pp. That information does not seem to be the same as you indicated above. 🤔
  11. I’d go with Virgin. Just feel you’d find it more enjoyable.
  12. And please understand that ‘premium’ is always subjective. Just wanted to get this out there before all the self proclaimed wine experts chime in. We have not had an issue finding something to our liking.
  13. I agree…but for any travel I find it amazing how often should afford it almost immediately becomes can afford it!!! Not sure of the reality of ‘can’ but…….we do it. And I guess in reality we most likely would not do it if it really were not ‘can’. I think…🤔
  14. Like ships passing in the night.
  15. Nah, I’m gone with even under the surface it belongs over there. 😉😉
  16. Seems like this thread would be better suited for either Norwegian or the Antarctica Port of Calls forums.
  17. I guess I fall into the category that the CD pretty much has zero impact on my cruise. Some probably because I don’t typically do the trivia. Otherwise I hear few of their announcements while onboard as usually either off the ship or in room and can’t hear much of it from the hallway. Showtime prelude seems very short and if I am not interested just tune it out.
  18. That may be your reality but unfortunately that is not what you implied in your post.
  19. Well….part of the problem is you stated in post 287 that you take 20 minutes to go to breakfast AND lunch.
  20. I’m not really sure on the SBC and I would not want to assume since it has not happened to me. However, the other part of my post was taken directly from the letter I received with my invoice for my onboard booking from just 11 days ago. So they do have a procedure in place and it would not happen because someone slipped up.
  21. If the new promotion includes a price reduction after final payment, the difference will be given in the form of SBC, stateroom/suite upgrade or a FCC, at their discretion.
  22. Yeah, definitely call and make excursion reservations over the phone. Much quicker and less frustrating.
  23. Just call their main number at this point and explain the, situation. We have found that the reps typically have access to excursions which is more up to date. You could then also request they send you the pdf version for excursions if you have not received. We never book excursions via our account, we always call as well documented issues with trying via their system. Always been quite easy with a phone call, even if you have a TA.
