I recently combined a 4&5 night on Summit but they both still had the party booze cruise vibe. I won’t make that mistake again and I’ll stick with the long TA’s as I primarily cruise for the ship not the ports.

It's so strange, the past few months quite a few have been reporting creaking noises on several of the E-class ships. It doesn't seem to be isolated to any one specific area either. IDK what it is, I hope it gets fixed but when I was on board, it was so so peaceful.

15102 Oct & Nov 2022, 14 nights, does the noise from the butler serving me coffee and pastry every morning count? Oh and the sounds from the ocean too....

I was on for 9 nights in Dec. and it was in very good shape. Had a fantastic cruise.

Are you referring to the ship on-board gratuities, pre-paid and/or charged per/day at the end of the cruise?

Do you already know the ship and date you want to change to? I only ask because why would you want to wait if so? You will probably have fewer options if you wait I would think.

Sounds like operator error to me.

Celebrity is a nice line, primarily skews older adults, school breaks and holidays not so much. Food is good to very good, Luminae is so very good. Service on Celebrity is IMO the standout best! Entertainment while not Broadway caliber, had always done what it is supposed to do, that is to entertain me and it almost always does. Depending on level of cabin you cruise in will of course have an impact on what you are offered. For celebrating your husband retirement, you should take a look at what the Retreat has to offer, it’s a very nice elevated experience. Whatever you decide, enjoy your cruise and happy retirement to your husband!
