  1. Thanks - that did it. You are a life saver.
  2. I am a dummy when it comes to phones and files. If I download the file to my phone how do I install it on my phone since I am not getting it from the play store? Thanks so much for your assistance.
  3. How/where do you find the previous version?
  4. I am just off the Eurodam last Saturday and my Navigator app worked fine but is now not letting me log in at all. I have 5 cruises booked. I logged out but now when I try to log in it says "Failed to fetch". I am using Galaxy S9 and Android 10. Is anyone else having an issue with Android and Navigator?
  5. We have been on the Eurodam for the last 12 days and all is good. The food has been good everywhere. The gym is in excellent condition with what appears to me newer machines. We do not use any of the other spa services. Crew is great as usual - the Capt Vincent Engel is very visible around the ship as well as Yelena the Hotel director and the recently on board Jordan the CTD. We are booked to be back on the Eurodam for Jan/Feb 2025 for 42 days and not concerned at all.
  6. A heads up for those boarding the Eurodam on Oct 12th - the ship will be going through several government inspections by the Coast Guard and Public Health folks so that will probably cause some delays in boarding
  7. If the B2B are on different booking numbers you will get both benefits on both cruises. We have gotten both on our 3 upcoming B2B cruises that are on different booking numbers.
  8. The pools on all HAL ships are freshwater and heated although some times they are much warmer than we like and sometimes they are much cooler than we like.
  9. Who did you ask? When I called ship services I was told they did not have access to the wifi costs when purchased on the ship.
  10. How/where did you find out the price of the Surf package when purchasing on board? When I called ships services they told me they did not have that information.
  11. I started another thread asking people currently on board the pricing. At a minimum I will post the pricing when I board later this month.
  12. I realize that purchasing the premium wifi plan ahead of boarding it cheaper than purchasing it on board but we have a lot of ship board credit and would like to compare the pricing. We have a 7 day and a 21 day back to back on the Eurodam starting in about 3 weeks. On the HAL site it shows if I purchase premium wifi on board the price is $34.99 per day however when I have purchased this plan on board in the past I know when purchasing it for a entire cruise it was much less than that. So I am looking for any of our cruise critic folks recently or currently on board a DAM ship that can tell me the price of the premium wifi for a 7 day and 21 day cruise when purchased on board. I called the ship services phone number but they told me that they did not have access to that information. They did tell me that I could purchase the plan ahead of time and then when on board I could have the charge transferred to my on board account and my credit card would be refunded. Not sure that is true - has anyone tried that and did it work? Thanks for any and all information on this topic.
  13. When I click that link it only gives be the price if I purchase it a day at a time. From our cruise back in Nov 22 which was 14 days I purchased the premium package on board for $139.99 but I think that included my 5 Star $30 discount so the full price may have been $169.99 or about $12 per day.
  14. Do you know if this is for all ships? I understand that some of the ships now have the STARLINK system operational so wondering if the pricing on those ships is more? We are doing a 21 day on the Eurodam and the premium plan purchased ahead is $291.99 for 21 to 25 days. Our issue is that we have lots of ship board credit to use so if I purchase before leaving the price is lower but we can't use the ship board credit to pay for it. Does anyone have the pricing for the premium plan for 21 days if purchased when on board - would like to see that price.
  15. It is actually $2500 worth per month per person. We can purchase $2500 for myself and my wife for $5000 each month. We pay for our October cruise totally with AARP gift cards and I already have enough to pay for our Jan/Feb 42 days of cruising. Great benefit.
  16. I live in the USA and always get travel insurance. My personal medical insurance covers me when traveling but I do get insurance for medical evacuation which can be very expensive.
  17. When we did it in 2016 on a HAL ship we went counter clockwise. All was good.
  18. Thanks for the information - what ship and day are you boarding? We are on the Eurodam boarding 30 Sept.
  19. We are booked for the Sept 30 Eurodam final 7 day of the season (then staying on board during the reposition to FLL). We normally book our own hotel and transfers but decided for ease to use HAL this time. We are flying in 2 days early arriving about 9 pm on Sept 28. Our documents say they are putting us up at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. From what our TA said it is the Sheraton Grand Hotel at 6th and Pike St. This summer has anyone used HAL for lodging and was this where the put you up? If so, how was it and are there any good restaurants near by at a reasonable price? Any information is appreciated.
  20. What cruise line REQUIRES insurance?
  21. As I recall I did mine about 10pm EDT and the one for my wife about 9am EDT.
  22. I use Chrome and it works fine. On the first purchase it was flagged as possible fraud by my credit card company but ever since it works fine. Just purchased $2500 worth this week.
  23. I send my TA a spread sheet listing the card numbers and PINs. He makes the payment. Easy
  24. I additional medical insurance you really need to have medical evacuation insurance to get you back home if you can fly commercially and that can be VERY expensive depending on your condition.
