  1. Really enjoying your postings - we will fly out 4 weeks from Friday and board on Jan 14 for 6 weeks so your postings are really getting us excited.
  2. Looks like they don't have a Catholic priest on board for this cruise. That is rather unusual but maybe since it is Advent season they could not get a priest.
  3. My new S23 with Android 14 is working fine with the latest version of the Navigator App
  4. If you have the Have It All HAL requires you to both have that package so therefore both of you would have the wifi I think?
  5. I thought mine was working OK but not really. I can see my booking but when going to book a dinner that menu give me a 404 error. Just so I can print the boarding pass in about 3 weeks is all I really need to do and if that doesn't work I hope the Navigator app will let me see it and I can do a screen capture.
  6. When I look at the Tamarind menu on the Navigator app I see the normal 9 offerings for mains and 5 different sides.
  7. The excursions and the dinners get moved from your prepaid to reimbursable OBC and then if it is not used during the cruise it goes back to the credit card that was used to purchase the excursions and dinners. I did this in Octo on the Eurodam
  8. Yes - I could not even log on last week but this week all is good with my account - good thing since we board the Rotterdam Jan 14 so I will need to print out my boarding pass when the bar code is added.
  9. I just logged in with Chrome and Windows 10 and it seems to be working fine. Did have issues last week but all good now.
  10. I caught that same thing last week on a tour where I was emailed that I had cleared the wait list.
  11. Yes - I did this on the Eurodam in October but it took a couple visits to Guest services to get it correct. You can also do this with excursions - pay for them with cc card then get it transferred to OBC and the amount you put on the CC card shows up as refundable credit on your account.
  12. Did the have the special Panama rolls this morning that are only served on Panama Canal cruises?
  13. Interesting - so it appears they have restarted doing the excursions in Panama. 2 weeks ago they stopped doing excursions because of protests stopping traffic.
  14. Thanks - that is good to know. We have looked the flower vases several times but I would require bring a piece of luggage to get them back home.
  15. I am happy that the people that developed the website don't work on a ship or we would never leave the pier. I had very few issues with the old site - now I can't even log in using Chrome or Edge.
  16. Gail/Marty - will the ship pack and mail these home? I never asked them but that would be great since we have some OBC but we have to fly home and that would be a luggage issue. Thanks.
  17. I don't see anything obvious that changed on the page and selections..
  18. From what I recall if you leave the ship to run some errands they normally say you can't return to the ship until 1100 but with your in transit card you can just bypass the lines and get on the ship.
  19. Thanks - We have sailed with Capt Timmers several times and he it GREAT! Hope he is still on board in January.
  20. QR - thanks for bringing us along on the cruise - we are boarding on Jan 14 for 42 days. In one of your early photos you showed a rack with the tea bags. In Jan/Feb 2023 on the Rotterdam I remember a large tea bag rack attached to the wall in the aft end of the lido on both sides - is that still there? In October on the Eurodam they had Bigelow Lemon Lift tea which is my favorite and hoped they would have in on the Rotterdam. Please keep on reporting. Wondering who is the current Master of the Vessel (may Timbers) and if you could post what shows are on the World Stage. Thanks again for your reporting and photos.

  22. The Navigator App was updated in late October - and after that would not work on my S9. Had to roll back to a previous version of the app. Have since update phone to a S23 and current version works fine.
  23. Late last week I faxed my information to HAL at 206-501-2620 and got an email confirmation reply in less than 60 minutes - this at least worked last week
  24. It was because I was confined to my cabin for about 40 hours when the Covid test showed positive. I think this was a follow on from the policy that they put in place after the pause to get guests back on the ships.
  25. On the Eurodam in October I had congestion and a bad cough so went to medical. They did the Antigen test and it was negative and gave me meds. 3 days later still coughing so went back - they did a PCR test and I was positive. I was confined to cabin that evening, and the next day. They came to the cabin the morning of the following day with the Antigen test and I was negative so I was free to go. I was charge $38 for one test and also received $168 FCC.
