My son did a summer internship with royal and was told it is never coming back.

I purchased 4 internet packages for 2 of my cruises this year. I only need it for 1 device but I sell the other 3 to people on my FB sailing. I got 4 devices under 1 person for $328 for surf and stream. So only $82 each device. This was on Allure and Harmony. You can share and always find people to buy at that price.

I could never go through my 4 a day so I would always get a drink for someone sitting next to me at a show sho didn’t have diamond or drink package.

I can cancel without an issue. Don’t need to know if it’s a good choice, just want to see if people who have taken only oasis class if they still like voyager. If you don’t like my question move on.

I am diamond but only have been on all oasis class, Anthem and freedom over 10 years ago. Booked Voyager out of Puerto Rico for March, got a super cheap friends and family rate but worried I will hate the old outdated ship and entertainment of the ship. We are going to great ports with no sea days. Can anyone tell me some positives about this old ship?

The key is not worth it at all unless you are solo. People say we are going to buy everyone the internet anyways. You have to understand the more internet you purchase under 1 name the cheaper the internet. I always purchase 4 internet when on sale and sell them to people on my sailings FB. Just got off Harmony. I was able to get 4 under one person at $328 so it came out to $82 for one device. I only kept one and sold other 3. If you are buying it thinking U r going to get extra time on the flow rider, Rockwall, or zip line,you only get 1 maybe 2 times in the week that give you a time that no one would want to go. oasis class ships you get on so quick that key makes zero difference. Just returned from the 4th cruise on an oasis cruise just this year. We take tons of cruises living so close to Lauderdale. They called diamond and key together and our friends walked on right after us at 10:40 with a 10:30 check in. chops lunch is in main dining room. You can buy chops lunch at $20 at chops. the reserved key seats in theater are no difference then the seats I am at. You still have to arrive early. The only people that get key are people who have never cruised oasis class before. You get off ship quick and early regardless of key. Go to park cafe and get a bite to eat when u get off. Also avoid windjammer and go to Park café or Solarium bistro on the first day for lunch. It’s quiet and easy avoid the key

You have to drink at least 4 alcohol drinks per day to be of value. you can get refreshment package on sale every other week at $22 a day pp. this includes water, soda, smoothies, mock tails, specialty coffees. So you have to drink $50 a day worth of alcohol on top of all these to be worth it. Some things like beer is $7. You can purchase this refreshment package and buy the alcohol as you go.

You don’t need insurance if it’s just one cabin. I am leaving next Sunday. If I test positive we get all our money back. No insurance needed. If my husband test positive we get money back too. So if you have just one cabin you get your money back.

The worst cruise line ever. Customer service, food, and 100 languages first before a show.

Don’t eat anything else on MSC because everything sucks.

Travel agent I use is usually cheaper because you get the booking in a group which lowers the fare. Also I Rarely pay gratuities and get a specialty restaurant for two. I am on Harmony in less than 2 weeks. No gratuities, my rate was cheaper and I booked a 3 night specialty and get a free night from them. I can call my agent anytime and have them adjust rates or do anything and they wait on hold and handle it with royal. Love it. Only book with royal when I have to because of family discounts.

Needs to change to all sailings short or long.

Don’t bother doing shuttle. You are paying just as much if not more than an Uber and u have to sit and wait for bus to fill up. Take an Uber

You get on board credit. You are still paying the same as on line. I have done it a few times but if you find a deal now I wouldn’t wait to get on board. I am on Harmony in a week in a half and went ahead and booked wonder for next year already. Well I got $900 off because my son is in a summer intern with Royal do we got s family discount so I can’t count that. To me it’s not anything great what you get onboard. You have 30 days to transfer to your travel agent and get their discounts too.

Very small appetizers. Literally A bite. Main course is chicken beef or fish. My chicken was so dry and tasteless, my husband’s fish was just ok and they brought us a plate of beef too. Nothing was great. Would never return. It’s a one time adventure and nothing more.

Don’t do either. On oasis class ships there are very few areas to see the ocean. Who wants to be in an apartment building at sea with no privacy? Nothing like being in your pjs and watching the ship pull into port each morning. People say I never used the balcony so it was a waste. To me there is nothing better to have a full view of the ocean with curtains open at all times.

I paid $165 plus gratuities made it $195 on symphony in feb and Allure in April. Got it during Black Friday

We love the UDP and it should go down some for Black Friday. to gets your money’s worth you have to drink at least 4 alcohol drinks a day. Many times the refreshment package goes to $23 a day. That includes all coffee drinks except Starbucks all smoothies, juice, soda, bottled water, and mock tails. So if u add 4 alcohol drinks to that at $13 each it equals the drink package. Some drinks are not $13 though. Like beer, some wines and mixed drinks are cheaper. The drink package would never work for me because I get 4 drinks free with diamond so I would have to drink at least 8 alcohol drinks a day. Bottom line is if you are not drinking at least 4 alcohol drinks a day not worth it. You can buy the refreshment package at $23 and just pay extra for any of the alcohol drinks and it would be cheaper

I cruise at least 4 times a year being i live in south Florida. Never once have they cared. Even at ports u can carry on a case of water and they don’t care. I am leaving in 2 weeks for my 4th cruise this year and will do it again. You are allowed to carry on a 12 pack of soda or water per cabin regardless. So if someone was stopped for too much water or soda at the port they can pick up some at any stop and can get water to bring on again.

We tipped an additional $10 every dinner for 2 of us. I brought 7 $10 bills for each night.

I have a small carry on rolling bag. I bring soda and water. I have taken a whole suitcase I rolled on with nothing but tons of water and soda. Was for 3 cabins. They never cared if it was for one cabin or not.

When people say it’s just a little bit more than the internet they are not calculating the internet correctly. For instance my internet is $21 a day per device right now, but if I bought 4 devices under one name it comes to $328 only $82 each internet. If you bought one at $21 it’s $147 for the week. So if you have 4 people and are paying more than $328 for the week for the key it’s not worth it. The key is of little benefit especially on Oasis class.

Have been many different times. Was there in feb and May this year. Both were bad.

Yep and still gross. It’s not the kind of beach I will swim in.
