Our Owen’s initials are OJS, the same as the infamous OJ, and he drives a white bronco too. There better not be current police chases in the next couple days. 😉

We brought out our porch chairs yesterday. Lucy noticed quickly and slept afternoon away on them. We also had some snakes sunning themselves. They may have been making new snakes, I didn’t ask them though.

Our experience was much like yours. Temperature dropped and the lighting got weird. Thanks to the glasses we could watch the eclipse as it progressed. As the sun emerged after totality I kept seeing bananas and slices of cantaloupe.

You must be there watching. You do not need to be an active participant. Your child must be a set height to ride the boogie board and a taller height for stand up.

We were out for the eclipse. Lucy was ready too.

From watching a video I don’t think I will need to cover the lense of my go pro for a time lapse. What do you think? I’m not fooling around with my phone of mirrorless camera.

We are preparing for the eclipse tomorrow. We do not have totality where we live, but are an hour away for where it will be so there should be good darkness @Sea Dog I might be sacrificing the old GoPro Black 7. Lisa might be getting me a new on for Father’s Day’s, especially if this one dies. I’m going to cut out lense of the ISO eclipse glasses and tape it so it go over the GoPro lense. I’m going to try it with a time lapse. Maybe very video to come tomorrow night.

It sure does look good. If The Bee ever sees it, it will be worse for the boards here. 😆

If you leave the ship on a 7 day cruise, on your own free will, it’s on the guest unless they have insurance. Why would there be a difference for the world cruise? If anything is more interesting it is being able to rejoin the ship in between the embarkation ports. I do not know if that is a possibility or not.

I used to see his videos on YouTube but they haven’t appeared in my feed lately. I was not subscribed. I’ll have to check if he is still posting. Just looked and he is. I’ll have to catch up.

He kind of did, cruising is something we all love to do. Having never read anything by him I took it as serious VS dark/humour, as there are people out there that do not like cruises. I’ve never stepped on Icon, and don’t like her design. IMO she’s an ugly child. That said, I like cruising so don’t she’s ugly “out loud”. It’s more like he insulted you mother in-law, you put up with her but you can’t say what you think out loud about her. It would have been better if they put him on the world cruise. If he actually hated cruising that would be hilarious.

The first paragraph said it all IMO. I stopped there. The dramatic writing style, of the one paragraph, reminded me of the woman who wrote a novella about missing the ship in the Caribbean here on CC maybe 10 years ago. Anyone else remember that?
