This just seems so wrong. -
Food Selection and Quality Hits an All Time Low

@Jimbo definitely not about raw meat being available for guests to walk away with. Certainly sounds like cost cutting measures to me. -
Food Selection and Quality Hits an All Time Low

I think it might come to food preparation, for food safety aspects. Anyone can serve themselves a plate raw veggies and walk away without it being cooked and eat it. If someone was foolish enough to walk away with uncooked meat and eat it thatβs another story. I do not ever remember seeing uncooked meat (unprepared to eat) sitting at arms reach of patrons on a ship. -

I guess they came out of the starters gate in full speed.π -
Iβm still chuckling at comparing the cost of crushing per day to a road trip in America. For an honest comparison it should be made against an AI. I havenβt seen a respectable hotel room under $200 in a very long time.

Owenβs football team did it again this week. They won 10-0 against a team that went undefeated all season, with a record of 6 wins and zero loses. They play in the finals of the consolation round finals. 2 wins, B2B, and shut-out the other teams. Theyβve had more wins in 2 weeks than 7 years under the same coach. Oh, and it was cold today. The high was 6C and felt cold with the strong winds.

Much easier.π

I have to say the announced increase of gratuities has brought about interesting discussions on the main RC board.

Gratuities Are Going Up Again, Effective 11.11.2023

You are at the same spot as we are. We have a cruise booked for this March and March of next year. We have an AI booked for NYE and it is almost 50% less than the NYE cruise we took last year. We booked it less than 2 weeks ago, with $100 deposit and fully refundable up to 14 days prior. Our AI room is very comparable to a OS, and it comes along with the perks on an Oasis Class ship. Our resort room is like Sky Class cruise cabin, but with a Butler. We are going to have a blast. Add to that, we only have to tip those that we want too and we certainly will. -

I'm going with substantial. Those that removed them before will not care. For those at the "tipping" point, it is a wait and see. It seems as though this will be a annual event for some reason. Exactly. Some missed this point. Me as well. Made me smile with this. I'd not return to the location charging the % for using a CC. For the cabins we sail in the value for money spent is growing further apart.
