  1. Don’t get off at Labadee, if it is the food you are after.
  2. Watching an interesting show called Secrets of the Lost Liners. This one focused on the Cunard Liners - specifically Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary Liners and their roles over time, during piece and war. This is an overview of the series.
  3. It is amazingly brazen of the first buyer. They jumped the starting line and your honesty of the blockage has but them in an unfortunate spot because of their poor decisions/actions. I'm sure you will, but please make sure if they return the missing items that they work. Fingers crossed for that this all works out.
  4. These announcements usually start in the common areas and after a few are made in the all cabins, if the missing individual doesn’t show up at GS desk.
  5. You ask you cabin attendant to open them, but my understanding is the Captain makes the decision if it will actually happen. That is they actually open on this ship.
  6. Coming soon brought to you by A&E and Discovery, Parking Wars of the Might Cruise Ships. I’d surely watch.
  7. It is an acquired taste, and watching it live gets it into your blood. Throw in some beverages and food it makes it that much better. Now, compared to rugby it is a different speed.
  8. Lucy had a busy day supervising yard work. The pool area looked like this to start the day. Then the pool was closed. Right after that we put away the patio furniture. The landscapers came after lunch and trimmed back furniture. Finished looked. And where was Lucy… taking it all in. She got pets from all the workers and extra cuddles from one of the pool and one of the landscaping crew. She was wondering where her loungers went.
  9. We watch them all in this house. Sometimes it’s just on and other times we are glued to the TV. I like watching live football better than on TV, but Sunday Owen and Lisa rule the remote.
  10. Just a thought in this. Maybe they are rentals and they treat them like their cars, they park them “outside”. For the amount I understand they cost, wouldn’t they want them in their room when not being used.
  11. Maybe in an alcove area? They must be able to get by housekeeping carts, or do they have to be moved as well for a scooter to pass?
  12. We have the same temperatures as Ken here. We turned on our furnace on Monday. Heated floor in the master bathroom, which is on a timer, yesterday. Snow tires go on next week. I’m not looking forward to winter but we are prepared.
  13. My apologies. I didn’t catch that your post was yesterday, I only looked today. That said, I also didn’t realize that cruisemapper is also in real time. I will add it to my sites of tracking. I too am sad that any cruise ships be there anything soon.
  14. Not sure if you are aware or not, but there are ship tracking sites which are based upon schedules entered months ago and not actual location. A site such as Marine Traffic is real-time and will show where the ship is actually located. From their site Rhapsody is currently in Cyprus.
  15. Never thought of that. I usually add a couple ice cubes so I don’t burn the living daylights out of my tongue.
  16. To further your comment I thought JS got limited to no access to the CK. Has it changed that they get to dine there for every meal. The one time we were in a JS on Allure, we were told there was no availability for the entire week. Edit, just read your comment about Oasis class ships.
