Those food challenges were gross but interesting. I’m surprised they never brought out a plate of raisins. As for weight loss Richard lost over 100lbs. I don’t think anyone was near that this season.

I forgot to mention the shorter time frame as well, it’s almost 2 weeks less. John’s first portion of the World Cruise is longer than Survivor, the folks on the ship are bigger survivors. Give me the challenge of the world cruise, now that’s a challenge.😂

I'm with you. Gone are the days of hiking daily for water, measuring the one bag of rice for the month, trying to fishing, cooking the eggs from their reward chicken and then deciding on when to chock their chicken (to eat). It's more like the Real House Wives of Survivor, compared to where they started from. Soft is how I'd describe these contestants today. Richard Holman should show them how it was done some 23 years ago and Rudy was probably rolling in his grave last night. 🤷‍♂️😂

@Sea Dog we chatted with a lady while waiting for X-rays who was in for her 1 year post surgery recovery. She had both her knees done last December. I shared your story and how you had puppy healing and she smiled. She went home to her 3 dogs after 2 weeks in hospital and was given all the love they had. She got RSV in hospital and they kept her until she had fully recovered.

With this one she will have completed both, and I think she is looking forward to it.

Oh no. I hope things are going as best as possible for her.

Thankfully there are better options now, even compared to 20 years ago.

January 12th. We are working on post care plans. Hopefully she will do better this go around.

It went well. We were there by 7:10 for the 7:30 apt. The process time was between 2-5 hours, and it took us 5, with extra time at the pharmacy to pick up some items for the surgery. The process included X-rays, blood work and meeting 4 different team members of the prep team at separate times. I’m beat though. I feel asleep at 1am and the alarm went off at 5:50.

Finally home. Saw three cars in the ditch on the way down and 4 transports in the ditch on the way back. Looked like an episode of Heavy Rescue 401, to which the stretch we were on was feature quite frequently. The normal 1:10 minute drive took 1:40. Not too bad. We lost 3-1 as well. We finally scored on that team at least.

Our forecast for tonight. Hockey game at 9:30 tonight at the tip of the arrow. We live near the base of the arrow. Normally we’d be home by midnight. Heavy winds and snow are the call. Fingers crossed that the game is cancelled. Tomorrow I have to have my mom to the hospital at 7:30 for her hip surgery consultation. It’s going to be a long night and day for me.

They tried this in Venice with my dad and in the late 90s. They didn’t get ours either.
