Apps. Lisa had the salad. I had the scallops. Owen had the lobster risotto. and minutes later it looked like this.

Early dinner at…

It was incredibly green for the dessert. The heat is coming next week and our pilot said things will dry up quick. That said, you can see the green in the video later to come along the rivers edge. A Joshua Tree. We stopped on the journey and landed along the canyons edge for 30 minutes to take it in. Love this shot.

It was spectacular. It is unfortunate their situation wasn’t the same. We had winds no stronger than 9mph and temps in the mid 60s. There was very little wind buffering along the way too. Sounds crazy to say it, but it was one of the best chopper rides so far. We have been blessed to be able to say that.

Here is a bit of video from last night’s game. One of the best spots is seeing when the Knights had a goal announced and the arena goes wild and I turn and show the faces of 4 LA Kings fans. That’s at about the 2:20 mark into the video. They were so sassy in the beginning. We have never been to a hockey game with so much enthusiasm and excitement. Vegas definitely knows how to host a game, on top of playing it.

You got it. We flew with them almost 10 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a sunset flight to the canyon and over the strip in the dark on the way back. Today we are flying to the canyon with a quick stop in the Canyon.

Only one band so far, but there might be another band tonight. 🎶🎶

We depart tomorrow morning at 9am and fly at 11:30.

We convinced him that he didn’t need them. They drive me nuts, but I bet I did things similar when I was his age.

Fairly busy day today again. We are getting picked up at 9am for an outing. Photos to come.

Originally Owen’s favourite team was the Penguins because of their goalie Marc Andre Fleury. When Vegas picked him in the expansion draft his loyalties changed. When Vegas traded him year before last to Minnesota Owen remained loyal to Vegas as a Team, and Fleury as a person.

Interestingly enough I noticed that the Cosmopolitan next door has balconies on almost all their rooms. Most every other hotel doesn’t.

The flight just ends.

We got them in November through ticket master. It’s been basically sold out except for over priced seats on stubhub. This is a very big game. Owen is set to watch his favourite team. When we were there Owen met the Kings goalie and right winger.

Owen found the fountains to be fascinating. The fact that it shot almost as high as our room on the 35th, was crazy, in his words.
