  1. I thought I remembered Monster too on board last Spring
  2. My kid loves it too....he doesn't eat soup on the regular but considers their cold soup "smoothies" lol
  3. Who is the current CD for the Panorama? Also, any opinion on the individual? TIA I never let a bad CD ruin my trip but I do feel a good CD can make it that much better. Of course, this is very subjective as I was a big fan of WEEEEEE JIMMY back in the day and I know others couldn't stand him.....
  4. I may be in the minority, but I was not a fan of Cabo Wabo....I did go on a day (I believe it was Sammys bday) so he was in town and singing at the location, but it was insanely crowded, the service was poor and I wasn't really impressed with the atmosphere or food either, but again this could have been circumstantial. IMO definitely more of a tourist trap and certainly NOT authentic to Mexico (though to be fair Cabo as a whole isn't).
  5. Great review so far!!! Looking forward to following along….happy travels!
  6. By the pool….Miami Vice At dinner….the jalapeño pineapple martini a close runner up….the espresso martini
  7. I think the reason some love the BBQ while others hate it or love the Blue Iguana while others don't etc...is that some of us are particularly lucky/spoiled in one type of food. For example, I live in Southern California minutes from the Mexican border, so I get the most amazing authentic Mexican food there is while I have family in PA who think Taco Bell is Mexican food so personally I think Blue Iguana is usually horrible but someone else thinks its great! Same goes for sushi we are pretty sushi spoiled in soCAL and I don't really think Bonzai is great either etc....so yeah, I imagine someone from the south who always had amazing BBQ his whole life might feel differently about P&A as someone less spoiled etc....
  8. Yeah sailing on the Panorama next month and love hearing all about her!!! Thanks for taking the time to review!
  9. I read everything I can on the Panorama but I feel like no one ever references the night club lol….if you checked it out on your cruise any feedback? Any other fun activities to not be missed? TIA
  10. I was wondering about this, I have reservations at but Jiji's and Cucina del Capitano....do those have any dress code? TIA
  11. Non alcoholic drinks do not count against your 15 count so drink as many soda, water, coffee, energy drinks, milkshakes etc you want😉
  12. Thank you for the review. We go on the Panaroma next month and look forward to a great cruise like you had!
  13. Although technically correct I do assume (and hope) that most people checking you in can apply logic to your situation and rationalize that a bottle of sparkling cider in place of a bottle of sparkling wine is acceptable given that some would bring for a child, like in your case or a non-alcoholic drinking individual etc. Let's hope it's not that black and white and that some common sense can be applied to the situation. I say give it a try and it'll likely work out in your favor worst case scenario you have to toss the bottle and go on without it.
  14. And I also believe it to be one app and one soup????? . ....and don't forget dessert!!
  15. Possible yes, ,worth risk no...no one needs to be stressed out about time on a vacation. IMO plan a later excursion and avoid the stress.
  16. He’s 12 but system added him as a “child”???? Maybe age has changed? anyone know if I can pay the difference so he can order off the normal menu???
  17. THANK YOU...do you know given that I paid a "children's price" if my child has to order off the children's menu? He is 12 so I imagine he would prefer the regular menu but wasn't sure.....TIA
  18. Hi there! I just booked both JiJis and Cucina del Capitano for dinner on our upcoming Panorama cruise (I have not been to either location). Are those restaurants like the Steakhouse where you get one appetizer, one salad, one entree and one dessert? Also, I am bringing my 12 year old, is there a "children's" menu or just one menu for all? Lastly, are either place fancy, meaning just MDR attire or should we dress up a bit like going to the Steakhouse? TIA
  19. OH I miss read the question I apologize. I also believe there is a rule that you can only purchase one or two alcoholic drinks prior to completing your muster drill.
  20. Assuming you were referring to the Cheers package..... What is excluded in the CHEERS! drink package? Beverages promoted and sold in souvenir glasses (drink of the day) Bottles of liquor Beverages offered at gangway (similar to promotional drinks) Beverages offered through room service, mini bars and/or in-stateroom beverage programs Sharing cocktails, floaters, pitchers, tubes and buckets Beverages offered through enomatic wine machines All other beverage-related programs including merchandise, cigars and cigarettes Food items
  21. I find it well worth it and always visit the steakhouse on all of our cruises....the level of service and quality of food is beyond comparable. I have never been disappointed in my decision to go. I always tip a little extra but that is definitely just a choice and not required.
  22. I always get Cheers since our very first cruise (early 20s no kids) and paid more for our bar tab then the entire cruise etc....yes, I do feel I get my money's worth (though I have never checked the math) but for me it's more than that. I like offsetting the expense months in advance and I also like not worrying about it, if I don't like a drink or spill a drink or want to try something new, it's nice to have no worries about cost (at that point at least) .... it's more the peace of mind and ability to try new things that I enjoy Cheers for.....
  23. Or are you trying to reserve on a cruise that is far out in the future, I do not think this option is available until within a certain number of months prior to sailing.
