  1. $39 (+ service charge) for Crown Grill & The Catch. The $39.00 price is correct. Service fee?-18% $35. for Sabatini’s. a few great Live from’s The Discovery Princess in February 2024.
  2. @20165 On the Enchanted Princess the concierge lounge is located on Riviera deck near the wedding chapel. As far as how much you want to tip them will depend on obviously the service you receive. As far as tipping and specialty restaurants, it’s a tip ,you can do what you wish or nothing at all. The reason why Princess and many other lines have not had tipping at the end of the cruise is because when there was no longer everyone in the traditional main dining room every night & specialty dining opened that’s how the tipping process went. Everything is added to your daily/ nightly charges, as far as tipping, or if you have the packages as I’m sure you already know. I think what you’re asking is primarily the suite concierge and the specialty dining. How much do people tip them. As far as what other people do ,doesn’t really matter in my opinion. If you think you receive good service at the specialty dining, then tip extra ,otherwise it’s included basically . I believe because everything is “ under “your medallion/cruise card. There is no longer a bill at the specialty dining restaurant for you to sign an extra for a tip ,so your tip would probably have to be in cash.??
  3. @drwbrt and @New2cruise2022. Great Live from with great information. I enjoyed following along.
  4. I’m enjoying your Live from. I’m from S. CA.,get there often to visit family I needed to see this through a Tourist eyes. Apparently I need to get out there and see some of this stuff. Never heard of Porto’s and didn’t know that there was still a version of Bob’s big boy out there. Have a great drive to the port tomorrow and looking forward to more on the ship reports. Thanks.
  5. I’m enjoying your Live from. Safe travels along your journey.
  6. @HBCcruiser great & beautiful photos of the wineries. Love the Guadalupe Valley wineries
  7. @BigWaveDave87 yep we always went ( quite some time ago)to Crooners and got the blue cheese stuffed olives. I love those -sad they only have the small ones for you on your cruise with the pimentos.
  8. @HBCcruiser that is quite the balcony. Looks like some fun drinks . Following along on your live.

  12. This was Alaska first formal night on Royal Princess, not Discovery, but might be similar time.
  13. Love your comments, can’t wait to hear about the real live ,starting tomorrow from Discovery on your short cruise. Sorry about your car battery, but it’s fixed…. Yeah. Cruise mode!🛳️
  14. Hi Joe & Amelia, don’t know if you remember me -the strawberry blonde ? We cruised with you a couple times way back. Just wanted to say hi. Enjoy your upcoming cruises. Julie
  15. Bought them at Crooners a very long time ago, don’t think they sell them anymore. We love the wineries outside of Ensenada too. Enjoy your retirement cruise.
  16. here’s the recipe from my Crooners playing cards.
  17. Does the wording refer to take & complete next cruise in 60 days or just book the cruise within 60 days for future? That part looks confusing to me but…..
  18. We’ll hopefully not your final cruise. Don’t let a bump in the road stop you from “doing you.” Enjoyed reading your live perspective,it was entertaining. I don’t see a live from this week for the Discovery,so….. last week 2 of them.
  19. Nope little table is a little table in the room. Top of refrigerator is top of fridge. I have a solution - move your other “stuff”. don’t want to hijack the Op’s thread ,so….
  20. I agree,op’s photo is beautiful even with a hallway food tray. Food tray-keep it in your cabin and your cabin attendant will take it for you. You can put it on top of the refrigerator-There’s usually a cabinet, there’s usually a little table or could always put it on the desk. If none of those areas works for you, leave it on the bed maybe with a towel underneath it or put it in the bathroom across the sink area. Probably quite a few choices . Most of the time people put it in the hallway-They’ve already left the cabin for the day, so just leave it in your cabin, it’ll be taken care of. Just my opinion/ 2 cents. Author/op- I am enjoying your live review and photos.
