  1. I think the Polynesian / Tiki places were popular in the 70’s and 80’s. In the mid to late 70’s, I was traveling to Hawaii and touring the islands every other year (75, 77, 79), and got hooked on those elaborate shows. I think Hawaii 5-0, and later, Magnum, peaked many people’s interest. And when you think of Pittsburgh, what comes to mind? Polynesian shows, of course! They use to have a place in Monroeville called the Mauna Loa that did dinner and a Polynesian show, complete with Tiki mugs. I would go there to get my fix between Hawaii trips. I hope they get the Mai Kai open before your next trip.
  2. I will be interested in how your air tags work once you drop your bags at the pier. I have read an account of someone trying to locate their bag, and it still said it was at the pier after they sailed. I think it had something to do with all the metal in the ship impacting location services. I think they did eventually get their bag. Ours have worked good for flights, but never sailed with them yet.
  3. I think she must be my one sister-in-law. Fifteen outfits for an overnight, because she isn’t sure what she will want to wear.
  4. Wow, four pieces of luggage! Remind me again how many weeks your cruise is. 😁
  5. I tell you, I have a serious case of cruise envy today, after seeing these lovely cruise pictures, and Greg’s LIVE starting. Don’t know if I can wait the 59 days till mine. Meanwhile, my deer picture of the day from my afternoon walk
  6. Oh, Greg! If I did that ( not the plastic, but the hangers), I would get this reaction.
  7. Looks like more Anniversary wishes are in order. Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Dave. Don’t let @Sea Dog lead you astray.
  8. Have a great cruise. I will be following along. I have looked at those cruises that either end up in, or start from Quebec City, but we have yet to book one. We met a couple on a cruise, several years ago, and they lived in Quebec City. That looks like a great port.
  9. Sounds very nice. Enjoy. We have boated by it, when my parents lived on Pine Island. Most of the time, when we were out, we would end up at Captiva.
  10. If it was on FB, then it must be true. 😂😂
  11. Good to see a post from you Dani. Prayers are still being sent your way from our house. Our church has had special prayers for Israel these past two Sundays.
  12. My granddaughter wants to get Ricky a costume, so he can dress like her for Halloween. Will be interesting to see if it happens, and how it goes.
  13. That was our welcoming committee in Costa Maya. It was tied up to our catamaran at the dock in Mahahual, and had to move so we could leave the dock.
  14. I don't think I have been in the D (excuse me, the Crown) Lounge for anything except a morning latte, since they went to the voucher system. Those deck 4 lounges do not hold the same appeal as those larger venues with a view.
  15. I hate autocorrect. I just noticed this when I went back. Actually, he was pecking, not peeing at the driver. 🤣🤣
  16. While returning from lunch yesterday, we saw this. The Turkey kept peeing at the Amazon vehicle, and wouldn’t let the driver out. I guess someone’s package is going to be late.
  17. Yesterday, the grandkids were off school, so I had to watch them for the day. Making chocolate chip cookies was one of the activities I planned. I guess the secret to having lots of chips in each cookie is to ignore that 2 cup measure and dump a 36 oz. bag in. Even Ricky was shocked at the amount. So after the cookies were baked, they put a Reese’s mini in the center and started decorating. And now there are spiders on the cookies. I did have to break down and sample one. Yum!
  18. Oh my, I wish you could edit in a longer time. I meant to write benign, but it was too late to edit. All I know is we will both rest easier once the results are back.
  19. I guess I may be one of those fortunate ones. Of course, maybe all my readings and averages don’t mean much either.
