The last time my lovely assistant and I were on the Majestic we improved the situation. We brought back local wines from every port we made. Staff in vines were kind enough to hold unfinished bottles for us.

🤷‍♂️ My guess, people like to accessorize for individuality purposes. Kinda like when we go to buy a new car and throw in some options.

or you can order a whole bottle of your favorite wine and enjoy it before they run out.

that answers my question, you got lucky. I usually get the eagle eye while standing in line. Then as I get closer to the machine , they start to salivate. The x- ray operators get a big grin on their face as my parcel passes through. No sooner I pass the vertical metal detector, there's a uniformed man/woman waiting for me. Nine times out of ten it's one that's never gets invited to anyone's parties, has more hair on her lip then I do and is into B&D. I get asked to walk over to the partitioned area were the inquisition will take place. Just remember if your offering an explanation and you hear the words " it's too late for that" . You should consider calling family members, work, your attorney ....

I think it's wonderful. Other than the concierge lounge there isn't enough to boast about, so hopefully the amenities on this new ship class will be better.

Ahhhh wine . Cruise lines could save tens of thousands and perhaps pass those savings onto their passenger, if they had DtC ability. Skip the middle man and save 12-18 % right off the top. Product from the Napa region broke their own record for average cost per bottle, so don't look to see many varieties populating list onboard. Supply is still touch and go,. Bottle, corks, caps, labels even truck drivers are all in short supply. This has led to increases in production cost and ultimately led to higher self prices 22', 23' and 24' . Cruise lines (most) will look to stream line inventory and use outside sourcing to meet demand.

I'm hopeful the sphere class will have better accommodations for suite guests
